Creamy Dill Cucumber Toasties

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
I won best dish with this recipe at an Easter Tea!! I followed the directions for the spread, used an English cucumber and sourdough baguette. I did use less dressing mix, but like other reviewers said, it's all a matter of preference and taste. Absolutely wonderful, I will be making this again and again!!

Butter Rich Spritz Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Very good recipe!! Make sure you don't over cook them, and use quality ingredients! I also found that waiting until the dough is at room temperature helped make the dough go through the press easier.

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2010
Wonderful!!! The most soft, fluffy pancakes I've ever had!! I would have liked it a little more sweet, but didn't want to ruin the recipe by increasing the amount of suger, or else I would have given it a 5 star rating. Maybe next time I'll just add some powdered sugar on top and see if that satisfies my sweet need!

Pear and Pomegranate Salad

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
Very tasty!!! The dressing is very balanced, sweet from the pomegrante and pears, sour from the lemon, and a little spice from the pepper. I bought a small bag of spring lettuce, and only had red pears on hand, but followed the directions exactly otherwise. I'm sure the dressing would taste just as good cold, so I'm thinking about increasing the amounts to make a larger batch and store it in the refrigerator.

Spicy Lime Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
Very tasty!! Like another reviewer suggested, pick a Cajun seasoning you like! I tried Weber's New Orleans Cajun and found 3 tbls was a bit much, will probably reduce it 1 tbls next time. I was also anticipating to taste more lime, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise, very tasty, simple and easy to make!
