Cowboy Cookies III

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2007
I used 1/2 cup choc chips and 1/2 cup butterscotch chips and added chopped walnuts. This was hands-down the best cookie I've ever made.

Ali's Amazing Bruschetta

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
Wow. Took this to a party, and it was devoured. Followed these tips of others to make it perfect: drizzle the sliced bread with olive oil and a little salt and pepper, then broil for a couple minutes before adding tomato mixture. Then sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top, and broil until melted. Hint: using fresh herbs REALLY make this awesome. Random tip: To drizzle just the slightest amount of olive oil on the bread so as not to make it soggy or overly oily, I simply poured the oil into a ziploc bag, cut off the tiniest hole in the one tip of the bag, and then just let it drizzle out while going back and forth over the bread slices. It really works well!

Garlic Pasta

AMAZING. However, I would use half of the red pepper this calls for. Also, for a little extra flavor I added a few squirts of italian dressing. YUM!

Chicken and Dumplings II

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2006
AWESOME! My family is addicted. Use a rotisserie chicken from the grocery store for ease, so all you have to do is take the meat right off and toss it in the pot. Also, dumplings need more water. Here's a huge tip: when you are dropping the dumplings into the pot, use your fingers and just kind of plop them in one by one. If you use a fork/spoon/etc, the dough just kind of seems to come apart and the dumplings won't hold shape. Don't stir until the dumplings have firmed up or it will break all apart.

INCREDIBLE!! I took this to an Easter dinner, and it was a hit. I even had to make one for myself at home, it was so good. Very moist, perfect consistency.
