About this Cook
I am, most importantly, a beloved daughter of the King of kings. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, an aunt, an amateur designer, a wanna be photographer, a dreamer, a planner, a hopeful writer & so much more. The one thing at the top of my bucket list is to see all seven wonders of the world. If I had a super power I would want to know what other people are thinking. I grew up near Atlanta, GA where I met my wonderful husband, Ben. We were married June 10, 2006. Four months later we moved to Dallas, TX so Ben could fulfill his dream of being a character artist for a company that makes video games. We purchased our first home in July 2007. We have 2 cats, Tumnus & Lucy, that were born January 30, 2006. Our first son, Graham Aloysius, was born on November 25, 2008 and the final addition to our family, Elizabeth "Libby" Leigh, was born on September 24, 2010. Want to know more? My favorite things to cook
Anything that's quick & easy...preferably not requiring the stove top.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My great-grandmother's cornbread dressing & baked macaroni & cheese... that's why I love Thanksgiving & Christmas so much.
My cooking triumphs
I'm still learning but my husband says that my baked pork chops are better than my mother's (she cook's her quite differently than I do). I think that's the best compliment a girl can get.
My cooking tragedies
I can't seem to get the simple things right... bacon & eggs, forget it.

Easy Sausage Cheese Balls
My mom has been making this recipe for as long as I can remember. I like to make a huge batch & freeze them before cooking then I can take out however many I want & cook them for a quick & easy breakfast.
