Raspberry Thumbprint Cookies (Cookie Mix)

These cookies were amazing but I actually didn't do the drizzle as directed. I found a WONDERFUL almond drizzle from another recipe on this site - "Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints". So I made the cookies from the cookies mix and covered them with that drizzle. I got so many compliments and loved them so much myself that I could hardly keep my hands off of them. By far the best turnout of all my xmas cookies this year.

Four Cheese Macaroni

This had great flavor but even with using 2 cups of half and half, as other reviewers suggested, we still found it a little dry. Next time I will probably try 2.5 cups and maybe even add a little more velveeta. I mixed the last half a cup of cheese with panko and it was delicious, though my husband asked for it to be covered in french fried onions next time for more flavor. I'll definitely be making this again..just with a few adjustments.

Cyndi's Shrimp Fajitas

I'm a little confused that this recipe got mixed reviews as I LOVE IT! I did make very minor changes, which probably would make a difference. I added 1/2 tsp of cayenne to the marinade for a kick and I typically only use about 3/4 lb of shrimp (obviously making the seasonings more intense). This is honestly in my top 5 recipes I've found on this site. It's light, healthy, quick, and full of flavor. Thanks for sharing, this makes dieting so much easier.

E-A-G-L-E-S Swirl Sandwich

I thought this was great..first time I followed recipe exactly and I loved it. Second time, I decided to put an italian spin on it, I used ham, pepperoni, mozz cheese, bell pepper and a little pizza sauce. It was delicious and so good left over for lunches...we'll be doing a lot more experimenting with this recipe..thanks!

Cajun Style Red Bean and Rice Soup

This had a very good flavor. I followed the recipe almost exactly, the only changes were that I used 2 ham hocks instead of 1, added 2 tsp of cajun as suggested and I only added 7 cups of broth instead of 8. I still felt like it was thin. I was hoping for something a little heartier so next time I'll try 5 or 6 cups of broth and see how that works.

Cajun Chicken Pasta

We loved it! I added 1/4 c. breadcrumbs to the cajun seasoning and it was great...I'll remove the chicken next time before I add the cream just so it stays cripsy but it was still wonderful. I omited the mushrooms (my husband doesn't like them) but I think asparagus would be a great add for next time. Thanks for the great recipe!
