Au Gratin Beef Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2006
Comfort food at it's best. Very quick and easy. My teenage son came back for seconds and thirds. I prepared this casserole on the stovetop, simmered it for about 15 minutes until the potatoes were done. Thanks for sharing.

Hamburger Hash

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2006
This has become a family favorite. I didn't think it could get much easier, but I was in a hurry last night and substituted a pound of frozen hashbrowns for the potatoes and it worked just fine. I also add worcestershire sauce as well as garlic and onion. We will also top it with cheese sometimes. Thanks for sharing!

Chewy Butter Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 28, 2006
The kids loved this bar...not to mention they were bouncing off the walls on a sugar high for the rest of the day. I am curious, is the cream cheese layer suppose to be runny or set up more like a cheesecake consistency? Mine was runny and I'm wondering if I needed to bake it longer. The taste sure makes it worth trying again.

Big Germans

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2006
Wow! This was a great Saturday morning breakfast for the family. I made two batches and filled one with a quart of fresh strawberries that I quartered and covered with sugar and let juice up while the pancake baked. The second I topped with the lemon juice and powdered sugar and served with extra maple and/or blueberry syrup. The kids and their friends gave this recipe a “thumbs up”. Hubby coined it as a healthy alternative to a funnel cake. Big Germans will definitely be a Saturday morning regular!

Chicken Wing Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2006
Super fast and super good! We had friends drop by last night and this was soooo quick to pull together. I used Velveeta in place of the cream cheese and cheddar—it was the only cheese I had in the fridge. I threw everything into a crock pot to heat through. My hubby, a huge hot wing fan, thought he was in heaven! Thanks for sharing.
