Chocolate Cream Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
I made this recipe as directed and the result was very salty, had to throw out the pie. I made it a second time, omitting the salt, and it tasted better. I used Hershey's Cocoa powder, maybe there is a better cocoa to use.

Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
These brownies were a real hit. I prepared as recipe requested and only baked them 20 minutes............... they came our great. The recipe does not say to use a mini muffin pan, but that is what I used. I made them in a very well greased pan without cupcake wrappers. They did stick so I popped them in the freezer for 30 minutes, gave each one a slight twist, and they popped right out. The ones I made with the cupcake wrappers also stuck to the pan and the wrappers were difficult to get off. I will not use the wrappers again.

Sky High Yorkshire Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2009
The first batch was just OK. I don't think my oil was hot enough, they were a little soggy. The second batch came out better. I too added a little salt and prepared the batter ahead of time.

Skillet Pork Chops with Potatoes and Onion

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
I have made this recipe several times. It is a great way to make pork chops. They come out tender, not dry. I increase the amount of liquid slightly and add sliced carrots to make it a complete meal.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
My husband said this was the best soup he had ever had. Be careful if you increase the serving size. You do not want to double the amount of pepper. Also I did not ad salt. Having ham and chicken boullian in the recipe made me a little nervous. It did not need any salt. I will make this again soon.

This bread is great! Reminds me of a bread we used to get years ago at the Log Cabin Restaurant in Holyoke. It is easy and delicious!

Flank Steak Pinwheels

Reviewed: Feb. 23, 2008
This was an easy to prepare dish that looks like you worked all day on. I was only able to marinade for 4 hours and that was fine. My cooking time was much less (35 min.) than the recipe. Check yours when you think in might be half way done. I will be making it again soon.

Super Quick and Super Easy.......I love horseradish so I added more for a nice kick. I also used frozen green beans instead of broccoli. My family enjoys egg noodles so I served it on that. I will be making it again soon.

Delicious! This recipe was very quick and easy. I would not salt the chicken next time. The stuffing had plenty of salt for the dish. I would definately make it again only I would have to double the recipe!!
