Im just a regular girl, from sicilia... i moved to canada when i was 13. im 20 now. with me, i brought all the cooking traditions from my family and many other families in italy. i hope to share them with you.
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy baking... cakes cookies, brownies.. i also love making pasta... with a light sauce.... and i love expeimenting with chinese food and southern foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
every sunday, my mother and i come together and make a huge lunch/dinner for the family. Gnocchi, au crespelle, olive balls, cutteletta... things like that. i love it.
My cooking triumphs
My first big dinner.Christmas 2003. i had 13 people over for dinner. i was on my own for cooking. i think i had about 20 different types of food cooking at the same time. i was panicking and crying... but everything turned out fantastic. :)
My cooking tragedies
..... i used this "slow cooker" before...the first time with an americanized cooking machine... (and i never will again).... i guess i slow cooked everything for too long.. it came out horrible.
