Easy Baked Chicken Cordon Bleu

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2010
I made this recipe for my family and had a couple of my sons friends want to stay and eat when they saw what we were having. I had made extra so that we would have some left over for lunch the next day. I used turkey ham instead of ham and I didn't have string cheese sticks, so I used regular mozzarella cut into sticks. Otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. Everyone loved these. I had 20 year old young men asking me for the recipe. I had to laugh about that! These were easy to do and a HUGE hit. Needless to say, no leftovers.

Grandma's Gnocchi

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
I like this recipe. I used more flour, about 2 cups and cooked them for about 5 minutes. I let them cook a little longer that when they came to the top of the water so they would be a little firmer. Cooling the potatoes first was also a really good tip. This is quick and easy. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

Tomato-Cream Sauce for Pasta

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
My family loved this recipe. I put the sauce in the blender, as mentioned by others and it was creamy and delicious. I also added more garlic, as my family loves garlic. I have also tried making this recipe with southwestern seasoning, southwestern canned tomatoes and a little cayenne. It was so good my son wanted me to teach him how to make it!!! Thank you for sharing this recipe.

I made this recipe adding some onion, larger can of pineapple and a heaping tablespoon of ketchup as others had mentioned. My family loved it. No leftovers. One of my sons requested I make it again in a couple of days. A family hit. Thank you!!!

Teriyaki Chicken for the Busy Cook

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2009
This recipe is a keeper. I cooked the chicken on top of the stove instead of in the oven. This worked out really well for me. The chicken was moist and flavorful. When the chicken was done, I put it in the oven to keep warm while I made a sauce using the soda/soy sauce mixture. I added a tablespoon of rice wine vinegar for extra tang and some cayenne pepper for spice along with some corn starch to thicken. My kids already want to know when I will make it again!!!
