Mascarpone Strawberry Cupcakes

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2013
Followed directions and mixed by hand with wooden spoon until well combined. Did not over mix. Filled muffin cups about 3/4 full. They do puff up but go down while cooling. I got about 16 cupcakes. I filled 1 cup measuring cup to the top with frozen strawberries because they settle once thawed. I only used 1 and 1/2 cups of conf. sugar. This was sweet enough for us. I spooned 2 to 3 spoons of the puree over each cupcake. The cupcakes were plenty moist and light. We enjoyed very much and will definitely make again.

Fudgy Chocolate Cream Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
Finally a chocolate pie that doesn't taste like chocolate pudding. We loved it!!! Made it just as directed. The next time I will add some instant espresso just to see what it does to the flavor. Should be good, I hope. Thank you, Nancy, for sharing.

Donut Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2010
These are absolutely delicious. I asked my husband to make them for me while I was busy and he did. I had to tell him where to find the mini pans and paper cups. Other than that he did great. Rather then grease the tins we used the paper cups. I can't stand having to clean out the tins from greasing. As a result, just the tops were dipped into the butter and sugar/cinnamon and they were perfect. Tasted just like donut holes. They will not last the day. Thanks bunches for the recipe. It is a keeper.

Big Al's K.C. Bar-B-Q Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2010
This sauce is finger lickin good!!! I just came across this recipe on 4/5/10 and have already used it on chicken and pulled pork. I cut back on the pepper be-cause we prefer less heat, otherwise, I didn't change a thing. I will definitely use this from now on. Thank you Alan for sharing.

Zabaglione

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2009
This was excellent. I wouldn't change a thing. I have tried other recipes and this is the only one that passed my husband test. I served the custard over fresh strawberries as he has had in two 4 star restaurants and he felt this was pretty darn close to what he had. Thank you for sharing.

Absolutely Fabulous Greek/House Dressing

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2009
Thank you Danielle for a delicious recipe. The only thing I did was to substitute some of the red wine vinegar with Balsamic vinegar as suggested by another reviewer, simply because I happen to love balsamic and thought it would make an excellent addition. It did. I will be using this dressing religiously. Thanks again for sharing.

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2009
My husband and I love this lemonade. The pitcher I used couldn't hold all of the liquid so I just used 6 and 1/2 cups of water. It turned out great!! Thanks, Jo, for the recipe. We will use this all summer.

Pecan Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2009
These make great little bite size treats for a pot luck dinner. I used petite four paper baking cups and baked for 12 minutes. They came out perfectly and are great for those who are watching their waist line (not me) and only want a little taste. Probably won't be able to stop at one, however. Thanks for sharing.

Italian Cheese Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
Thank you for this great recipe. My husband and I really enjoyed it. Since we don't care for very spicy foods, I just used plain Monterey Jack cheese and it was absolutely delicious. The bread makes for a great grilled cheese sandwich as well as being great just toasted with butter. Can't wait to make again.
