I have been married for 46 yrs. in March 2011. I have 4 grown kids, ages 44, 42, 37, 34. I also have 4 dogs, Morgan, a Rat Terrier, 13 yrs. Bella a Pug/Terrier mix 9 yrs. A Chihuahua/Terrier mix, Tessa, 7 yrs. And last but not least my baby, Dolly, who is Chihuahua/Min.Doxie mix, who is 3 years old.

Quick and easy things. I like to use my crockpot alot. One of my favorite recipes is "Crockpot Lazagna".
My favorite family cooking traditions
Keep it simple!!!!!! Being handicapped I can't stand long so use a powerchair, so simple is most important.
My cooking triumphs
The first time I cooked a Goose for Christmas dinner. Everyone went home VERY full. Most had never had Goose for dinner.
My cooking tragedies
I had hurried to clean up my kitchen before friends came over. The next day I had a horrible problem in my oven. Because I didn't want to clean all of my plastics the night before, I put tham all in my oven. Needless to say, the next day I turned on the oven for a roast. After a while I smelled burning plastic. It goes without saying, my kids have not let me live it down for the past 30 yrs. LOL !!!!!
