Cinnamon Rolls III

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
These are wonderful and very easy to make. I made these a week before Christmas and put them in the freezer. Christmas Eve, I took them out to thaw, and they were ready to pop in the oven the next morning. My family luuurved these! I am getting ready to make some more today. I think we like the taste of these better than Cinnabon's rolls. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2008
We love this recipe. We've been making it for about a year now and is probably the best bread recipe we've come across. When my 16-year-old daughter craves it, she can make it herself since it's so easy to make.

Hoagie Dip

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
My husband loves this dip - he also loves sub sandwiches so it is the perfect dip for him. I took other reviewers advice and added some hoagie sauce to it. I also used half provolone and half swiss cheese. Instead of using torn bread, I took a french baguette, sliced it thin and toasted it in the oven with garlic. We like the little bit of crunch with the dip. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
I made this yesterday for a girls get- together and everyone there wanted the recipe. I especially loved the cinnamon chips - who knew flour tortillas could taste so great! Very fast and easy to make. Thanks for sharing the recipe Ann!

The Best Meatballs

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2007
We enjoyed these last night for dinner. I had hamburger thawed and wasn't sure what to do with it so I thought I'd give these a try. They were wonderfully moist and had great flavor. Personally I hate when people rate recipes and don't follow the recipe exactly because you can't give a fair review, but the only changes I made were I did not add the veal (family won't eat it) and I only added half of the pork - like I said, I didn't know what I was making for dinner. I will be making these again and next time add all of the pork and maybe sneak some veal in as well! Thanks for sharing!

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2007
Great recipe. I've made my tenderloin like this for several years with two exceptions. First I marinate the meat overnight and sear it in a hot pan with a little oil before putting it in the oven. This helps keeps all the juices in the meat. Second, I add beef broth as other reviews have suggested. Thanks for sharing!

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
I made these for a Christmas bake-sale, but made muffins instead of bread. They turned out very moist and good. Everyone really enjoyed them. Thanks for the recipe!

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
This is a wonderful recipe with great flavor. I left out the mushrooms and tomatoes, other than that, I followed the recipe exactly as written. It is very creamy and everyone loved it. Will definitely make this one again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Lemon Horseradish New Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2007
Made these potatoes last night and thought they were good, but not wonderful. My husband picked up spicy horseradish sauce at the grocery instead of regular. I don't know if that really made a difference in the taste. I took other's advice and par-boiled the potatoes first and baked them for half an hour. I will try these again with regular horseradish sauce and not par-boil them first - that way I can fairly rate this recipe. Thanks for the recipe!

Italian Meatball Sandwich Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2007
I followed the recipe except I didn't cube my bread. Instead I used a loaf of French bread and hollowed out most of the center. I also did not add water to the spaghetti sauce. Pretty good sandwich, but you don't want any left-overs. Not as good the next day. Thanks for the recipe!

Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2007
Like others, I added extra cheese and garlic to the mixture. I also didn't pay enought attention to the directions and added the melted butter to the dough before I baked them instead of brushing the butter on top after they baked. They did turn out very moist. Thanks for the recipe!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2007
Very moist chicken - everyone liked it and I will make this recipe again. I did not bake the chicken for 30 minutes as I think this would make it a little dry. I baked it for 20-25 minutes and it turned out very moist. Thanks for the recipe!

Gooey Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2007
Very moist cookies. It tastes like you're eating a "mini" piece of very moist cake. I made them exactly like the recipe said and then I added chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts to another batch. I think it would be better to add the choco chips and nuts to a chocolate cake mix instead of the yellow cake mix. Thanks for the recipe!

Hot Buttered Rum Mix

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2006
I made this recipe several years ago to bring to a New Years Eve party and everyone loved it, but I lost my recipe! I was so happy to find it here. Made it again this year for Christmas and everyone loved it. You can also add this to a cup of hot coffee which is how I like it. Thanks for the recipe Kevin!

Cookie Balls

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2006
Made these a few days ago and they are great. I made according to recipe and then I decided to try them using a peanut butter filled cookie, (like an Oreo, but it's peanut butter instead of chocolate) added a half a cup of peanut butter to the cream cheese and covered them with dark chocolate almond bark instead of white almond bark. They were a little harder to make into balls than the Oreo cookies, but they tasted great. I stuck a toothpick in them to roll them into the melted chocolate. It is a little difficult to make them look nice. I stored them in a plastic container in the freezer and just take some out as you need them.

Seven Layer Tex Mex Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2006
If I could I would give this recipe 10 stars. I've been making this dip for the past twenty years (half my life) and it is my favorite dip. I mash up two avacados instead of adding guacamole. It's also best to let this sit in the refrigerator over night so all of the flavors can meld together. I always have requests for this recipe.
