Sweet Baby Carrots

Made this last night. It was tasty but way to much sauce for us as well. EVEN WITH BISCUITS. and a little too sweet. I would cut the entire sauce in half next time.

Slow Cooker Ribs

This recipe is WAY better if you brown the ribs in a pan before adding them to the slow cooker. Made them a few times with and without browning and there is definitely a difference.

Lentil Soup

Made as written but then forgot the spinach and vinegar. Was ok. I also used half red lentils as another reviewer suggested. I needed to add an additional 1c of water and used veggie broth. Would make lentil soup again, but prob not this one.

Spelt Biscuits

sooo easy. I did it all with my hands (no rolling) and they were fine. I also subbed vegan margarine and Silk brand coconut milk to make them vegan. I put in 1/2 tsp salt as other reviewers suggested. THEY WERE PERFECT. Best biscuits I have ever made. Don't even need to look for another biscuit recipe. Hubby said they were very tasty and didn't mind them, even though he is not vegan.

Monkey Bread V

Made this recipe with 1 "Grands" tin (16oz) and in a round 8" cake pan, well greased. Cut each biscuit in 6 pieces instead of 4. Used as pizza cutter. Great idea, no water needed. Baked for 20 mins and they were perfect. I brought it to the neighbor's house and it was gone within 4 minutes. AND the kids didn't even get any!

Chicken Pot Pie III

Followed the recipe exactly, including blanching the veggies. Used the legs/thighs and a little breast meat from a supermarket rotisserie chicken. Came out awesome! Brought it to my sister-in-laws and there wasn't a crumb left. Seemed like it was a little long to cook and next time I will only cook it for 20 mins after taking off the foil. Used someone's suggestion and folded some foil in half and cut a large half circle in it and then opened it to cover the edges. Will be making this again!

This was perfect. I liked the consistency. I increased the milk to tablespoons and it was needed. Will make this again. Put it on top of the "Too Much Chocolate Cake" from this site.
