Broccoli with Garlic Butter and Cashews

Delicious! I only wish the sauce was a little thicker. Mine was quite runny--I don't know if that is the way it is supposed to be or not.

This recipe was pretty good for my first time making chicken pot pie. My husband loved it, but I felt that it was missing something even though I put all the ingredients in. I'd probably make this again, but might try and incorporate cheese into it somehow.

Lazy Bruschetta

I don't know if I didn't get the garlic salt mixed enough or what, but it was quite salty. I don't think I would add all the garlic salt next time. And I too thought some fresh basil on top of it all would taste nice too. I may dice up the tomatoes too--because it's hard to keep the tomato on when I bite into it. All in all it's a nice idea with some minor changes needed. I will definantly try again.

Mama's Italian Wedding Soup

This was an excellent meal that I prepared. The meatballs were so good, and I would like to try the recipe for meatballs to go with spaghetti. I didn't know if you used fresh spinach or frozen, but I used fresh and it turned out wonderful. I will definantly make again, especially on very cold wintery days. This was my first try making an Italian Wedding Soup and I was highly impressed. Mmmmmmm.

Taffy Apple Salad

I agree with the others, why you have to wait 2-3 days for it. I made it like the recipe said, except I drained my pineapple and poured the juice out (instead of saving it like the recipe said). I think it tasted wonderful still--very creamy dessert and the apples were very fresh too. I love how you get a bit of sweet and salty at the same time. I'd like to see how it would taste if you combined all the ingredients in one day--but I imagine this is one of the recipes that will probably taste better after it is a few days old. I will make this several more times in the future as it is a wonderful summer dish.

Cornish Game Hens with Garlic and Rosemary

First time I ever had cornish hens--most excellent recipe to try for the first time. I loved the way you could taste the rosemary. Didn't taste the lemon so much. But mmmm mmmm! So good. Serve with freshly brewed iced tea!

Grilled Sweet Potatoes with Apples

Fiance said these were the best sweet potatoes he ever had. I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes but they tasted pretty good. The apples were excellent too! I used a mixture of cinnamon sugar that you can find in the spice section at grocery store--but you can make your own mix at home. 1 part cinnamon 1 part sugar. Excellent recipe!

Parmesan Puffs

They were ok. Mine didn't come out like they looked in the picture. They looked more like biscuits you would find at Red Lobster. They tasted good but the sauce overpowered the taste of the bread. I will try making them again though.
