Honey Baked Chicken II

This is an awesome recipe. Really simple to make and tastes awesome. I used boneless skinless chicken breast, cooked at 350 for 30 mins and it was done perfectly. I think I used a smaller/deeper dish than instructed as there was no need to baste (added to easiness). I served the finished dish over white basmati rice with steamed carrots. The sauce was really nice over the carrots too. I think I will add some to the dish in the oven next time. The other small change I may make next time is add a little flour or cornstarch so the final sauce is thickened a little bit. Definitely going to make it into my regular rotation. Thanks Gretchen!

Indian Peanut Stew

This recipe is very good. As others commented, it looks like a strange combination, but there is something addictive about these flavours together. The fact that the ingredients are very low cost is an added bonus. I am giving this 4 stars only because I made a few minor changes that I think added to the recipe. I used some extra tomatoes (about 1/2 a can) and that toned down the over powering flavour of the peanut butter that others had commmented on. I also topped it with chopped peanuts (I didn't have chunky peanut butter) and some sliced green onion. I added just a couple of shakes of salt and probably 2-3 tablespoons of dried cilantro for colour. Lastly, I added chickpeas to make it an all in one meal. This will definitely make it into my regular rotation. Thanks Hoolie!

Slow Cooker Thai Pork with Rice

This turned out great! I only had pork tenderloin (not shoulder roast) but it worked just fine. It turned out really tender. It wasn't quite as spicy as I expected, which I was kind of disappointed with, but it went over well with my family, including my sis, who tends to be on the picky side.

Drew's World Famous Triple Rush Hot Chocolate

Marvelous!!! I just made this and it is wonderful. My only criticism is that it is a touch on the sweet side. I would definitely add even more milk at the end. I love the idea of chili powder, it adds that little something that you couldn't pick out was missing if it wasn't there. I just had hazelnut-flavoured instant coffee on hand, but it still worked nicely. You could use different flavours to make a nice variation on the original recipe. This is going into the 'favourites' section of my cook book for sure.
