Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2008
Great recipe. I had it the first night in homemade bread bowls. The second night I drained a lot of the liquid and added 1.5 cups of cheese and 1/2 cup sour cream and had this as a dip with nacho chips. It got rave reviews!

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
This was a great, light recipe. I doubled it and got 5 1/2 waffles. The only reason I didn't give it 5 was that it was a bit finicky to make. The result was worth all the effort though.

Nice flavor, fairly dense yet not heavy. I will make this recipe again.

Double Layer Pumpkin Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2008
Very nice recipe. I increased the pumpkin to 1 cup and used real whipped cream for the topping with a pinch of cinnamon whipped in. Had it for Thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it.

Caramel Apple Crumble Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
This is actually my recipe and I have to say that they altered it a little when they published it. I actually sprinkle a tablespoon or two of flour into the bottom of the crust to prevent the sogginess from the juices. It works really well.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2008
This is my new chocolate chip cookie recipe! Thank you so much for this recipe. I followed recipe as written, I did not refrigerate the dough, and they turned out wonderfully. For those of you who had bad results with this recipe I can only suggest you try again...this is one of the best choc chip cookie recipes I have ever made... and I have been looking for a looooong time. Thanks again.

Caramel Frosting V

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
THank you so much for this recipe! It has amazing flavour. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that I did end up having to add about 1 cup of icing sugar to get to spreading consistency. I followed others' suggestions and let it cool in the fridge for about an hour before beating it.

Caramel Apple Bars III

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2008
This was okay but definitely needed more caramel. I found it a little flaky too, I'm not sure why it didn't stick together that well.

Moist and chewy! I used mini m&m baking pieces instead of chocolate chips and vanilla pudding instead of white chocolate....very, very nice texture and taste!

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2008
So unbelievably good. Rich and creamy and incredibly decadent. I didn't have any parsley so I added a TBSP of pesto. Way better than store bought and very easy to make.

Apricot Bonbons

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2008
This is sooooo tasty! I made this for our town's Apricot Festival and they were a hit. I only rolled half in icing sugar for a stronger visual presentation. They are sweet enough without the icing sugar for a bit healthier of a treat.

No Bake Cookies IV

Great recipe! Soooooo easy and fast. I chilled them for 20 mins in the fridge and they were set. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars was i felt they were missing something.....i think next time i may throw in some chopped peanuts. Thanks for the recipe :)

Very easy and fast to prepare. They taste good I was just concerned because the texture was a little too crumbly for my preference.

Orange Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2008
I used a "regular' pie crust instead of a graham crust, and only used 2 tsps of orange rind.... other than that the rest was the same. Very nice flavor.

Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2008
Excellent recipe. I used milk instead of cream and this went superb with my banana cake. I needed to double it to have enough to ice a 3 layer cake. (We like lots of icing) I also added a tsp of vanilla.

Lemon Zucchini Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2008
Very interesting flavor for sure. I added the juice from the lemon as well as the zest for a more lemon-y flavor. It smelled amazing while it was baking. I also substituted half the white sugar with brown sugar. Very nice looking loaf.

Great EASY recipe. It makes A LOT too. I used ground turkey and added garlic and onions and some spices and doubled the Parmesan cheese but I will definitely make this again. I loved how easy and fast this was.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2008
I read the reviews first before I tried this recipe and I am thankful that I did. I would have been totally unprepared for the texture of this batter. When I put it in the pan to go in the oven, it was soooooo dry i thought "there is no way this will turn out". BUT IT DID!!! I followed the recipe exactly, only changing the 1/2 cup nuts to 1/2 cup mini M&M baking bits. It is one of the moistest brownies I have made. And the taste is GREAT. I gave it to my 3 nephews and they had no idea it had zucchini in it. I will definitely make these again. Thank you for this very interesting recipe.
