Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
Delicious flavor, sweet and smoky. I reduced the Liquid Smoke to about 1/2 and added about a 1 1/2 tsp. of dried mustard. This is now my favorite Easter ham recipe. Thanks!

Summer Potato Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
Fabulous! I used two eggs rather than three, omitted the lemon juice and added about 3 tsp. of Tabasco. Everyone enjoyed it very much. Next time I will keep a closer eye on the potatoes though as they were overcooked for my taste, but that was my fault :(

Cherry Chocolate Cobbler

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
Delicious. We served it with vanilla ice cream as suggested. I made it into more of a fruit crisp than a cobbler by omitting the egg milk and baking powder. Also, I used "lite" cherry filling. I would have added some almonds as another reviewer suggested but my stepson is allergic to nuts. However, everyone really enjoyed this and it was so simple to make.

Potato Leek Soup III

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2006
Like others who tried this recipe, I reduced the butter, used 1/2 and 1/2 rather than cream and added celery. Deliciously comforting. Thanks for the recipe!

Albondigas

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2006
Really enjoyed this recipe. I made a few changes: used leeks rather than onion, added cajun spice (paprika, cayenne, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, etc), salt and plenty of pepper. I also threw in some zucchini and lentils. Delicious! I made a large pot so my husband took some to work to share with co-workers as did I. I haven't heard what feedback he received yet, but everyone LOVED this soup. I would definitely recommend it. Lovely Mexican soup, though I know the spices I added weren't traditional.

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2006
Delicious! This is definitely what you call comfort food! I made a few changes: I added plenty of black pepper, about 1/4 tsp. of dry mustard, 1/2 onion, chopped and sauteed, a dash of worsterhire sauce and one large tomato, diced. I substituted Kasseri cheese for the parmesan. My family loved it and i brought leftovers to work and everyone wants the recipe! Thanks a bunch!
