Homemade Butter

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
AMAZING!! I can't believe I've been wasting so much $$ on store bought butter. The first batch I used 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 3 dashes of salt. my hubby said it needs more. The 2nd batch I used 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, 1/4 tsp of salt, 3 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon which made an amazing topping for toast, pancakes, waffles, grilled P B & J! ... you name it!!! I'm still in awww over this :) THANK YOU All Recipes!

Stuffed Peppers My Way

Reviewed: May 2, 2007
GREAT! I actually made a rice dish out of this to stretch a meal. I cut 3 red & yellow bell peppers into chunks and sautéed them in the oil. Added 2 cloves of chopped garlic, then the spices from this recipe, and 1/2 cup of white wine. I let that simmer until the wine was almost gone and added the rice & cheese. DELICIOUS!!! My picky fiancé ate it as well. Next time I will try the whole stuffed peppers.

Fettuccini Tomato Rustica II

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2007
Great dish! I less than 1/3 cup of oil and added 1 1/2 cups of dry white wine. I cooked cubed chicken, garlic, and 1/2 a chopped onion until chicken was done. Added the wine and simmered until it was almost gone. Added all other ingredients (with a little more pesto because we LOVE it) and served it with some extra feta on top. Great dish! Thank you!

Vicki's Hush Puppies

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2007
THESE WERE GREAT! I’m in CA and our homesick friend from Georgia told us to make these. I gave it 4 stars because I added a few things. Added about 1 tsp Chili Powder, 2 tsp Garlic powder& 1 tsp Onion powder with more milk as other suggested. I used regular flour and cornmeal but added 1 tsp of baking powder (not sure if it changed anything) My picky Fiancé even ate them (he says he's allergic to onions :) and our friend from Georgia said they were almost as good as his mom’s :) We dipped these in tarter sauce and served w/ Fried Catfish YUMMM!!!

Chicken with Asparagus and Roasted Red Peppers

Healthy and tastes great! I added zucchini & mushrooms. Also, I didn't use the cheese for less calories and it still tasted great! My boyfriend is a very picky eater and liked it! I will make this again!
