This was amazing!I baked the sweet potatoes in the microwave, scooped them out and then followed the recipe exactly. This was soo amazing, the first side dish to go at my Thanksgiving table. My husband said it was like dessert. Cant wait to make again and it was so easy!

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
Was not really happy with this recipe, the only change I made was to use crushed pineapple instead. The chicken came out nice and tender but the sauce just tasted like BBQ.

Sweet 'N' Sour Turkey

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2007
This was an excellent recipe. Very easy to do as well. I added snap peas and broccoli to the veggies, I used EVOO and sesame oil instead of the butter and skipped the almonds because I didn't have any. I also used fresh pineapple. I will make this again. Thanks for the great post!

Dixie Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
This was so yummy. I only changed a few things, I didn't use oil, I used Pam so there were no drippings in the pan, I used a splash of sherry to deglaze the pan and instead of water I used apple juice and apple cider vinegar. I used really thin pork chops so it was only in the oven 40 minutes. Next time I make this I will use a pork loin!

Penne with Chicken and Asparagus

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2007
This is a good basic recipe but it needs more seasoning. I browned the chicken with EVOO that had garlic and herbs in it. I also used several teaspoons minced garlic. I cooked the chicken about halfway and then added the broth and other ingrediants instead of taking the chicken out. I also used about 1 cup of chicken broth instead and added basil and more cheese.

This soup is awesome and really easy to make. I used half a can of diced tomatoes with green chiles instead of the fresh tomato and jalepenos. I also seved it with Lime Tostitos instead of making the others. Everyone loved it. Thanks! I have already made it twice since this review!

Artichoke Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2007
This is an excellent recipe! I used frozen artichoke hearts instead, they have a lot more flavor, I just cooked them according to the package and drained them really good first. I also used minced garlic and pepper instead of the garlic pepper! Awesome, my husband really loved this. It's really elegant for company but is soo easy to prepare. This is the second time I have made this! Thanks for the great post!

Bow Tie Pasta with Sausage and Sweet Peppers

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2007
This was a great easy dinner. I never had a pasta dish with a broth before and it was yummy. I doubled the broth like others suggested, I used a red and green pepper, added some fresh sliced mushrooms and some marinated artichoke hearts too. I sprinkled it with parm cheese right before serving. Oh I also added some garlic and basil while the veggies were cooking!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2007
This is the best marinade, the chicken comes out sooo moist. I didn't have applecider vinegar so I used red wine vinegar instead and I used Splenda instead of the brown sugar because we follow the South beach diet. Awesome will be using this again and again!

My family enjoyed this dish very much. I had already cooked the shrimp before I went looking for a recipe so I marinated the shrimp cooked, not as much flavor. Next time I will marinate first, the honey butter sauce was yummy too. Thanks for the great post!

Gordo's Good Venison

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2006
I did not change this recipe at all except I used the scaling down feature and used only 2 pounds of meat. I used 1 inch thick venison tenderloins and it turned out perfect. I am not a huge fan of venison, but this was really good. My husband the hunter really liked this and asked for the recipe for hunting camp! Thanks for the post!
