Baked Brunch Omelet

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2012
I have made this twice for a group brunch and there are never leftovers. I did add a little of the seasonings the other reviews recommend. Also, I let sit in the fridge overnight before baking in the am.

Steak Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2011
This truly was quick and easy. Perect for summer. Only change I made was grilling the sliced red onion and a red bell pepper (spray both with some olive oil and salt lightly).

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
My family said these were the best wings they ever tasted. I think the key is letting flour mixture sit on wings for at least 1 hour and have hot oil.

Baked Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
We love potato soup and this was a winner. I omitted the basil and used a couple dashes of cayenne instead of the hot pepper sauce.

Do yourself a favor and use real crab and only about 2/3 of prepared stuffing mix. Also added a dash of Old Bay seasoning. Yummy.

Terry's Texas Pinto Beans

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2010
Much tastier than canned beans. I soaked beans overnight first, then rinsed and drained. Cooked at high for 4 hours, then low for 3. Very easy to prepare.

We really liked these. Made with "Best Marinara Sauce" recipe on this site. Also, I skipped the browning step and baked at a little higher oven temp. until they were brown.

Blackened Tuna Steaks with Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
We LOVE this recipe and have done it twice, so far! Second time my husband grilled tuna- even better! I added a roasted chopped hatch chili (mild) to the salsa 'cause they are in season,(we in Texas). Served with couscous.

Panzanella Panini

So simple, yet sooo good. I used ciabatta rolls. Salt and peppered the tomato slices. Roasted red peppers would be good on it- but might make it too full!

Very rich, but very yummy. I also combined the chicken, ricotta, and spinach to save time. Use fresh mozerrella if you have it!

I agree with the others who used Beef consomme, but beef broth is ok too. Also a little garlic is always good. Very easy and tasty.
