Belgian Waffles

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2012
Fantastic! Yes, they were more trouble than my regular waffles, but the whole family loved them. They're much more substantial than non-yeast waffles. I used a regular waffle iron with good results, but if you have both, I'd try the deeper one.

Pecan Pumpkin Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2007
These were wonderful, and very easy to make. I did not roll the dough out, but pinched off dough enough for a biscuit and rolled it into a ball then patted it to 1/2 inch thick. They turned out fine and we all enjoyed them.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
This was wonderful. Next time I'll sautee the onion and celery first. I was careful not to overcook the potato and my celery and onion were a little crunchy, but otherwise, this was great soup.

Pizza Crust for the Bread Machine II

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2005
Fantastic! I have a 1.5 pound machine. I multiplied the recipe by 1.5 (customized the recipe for 15 servings) and it was not too much for the machine. Made one big pizza for me and husband, and 2 smaller (9 inch) for each of the kids. I cooked the crusts at 425 until risen and dry, topped and baked until cheese browned. Really wonderful crust-crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Kids went nuts, said "thanks mom." Don't get that every night! We'll be having home-made pizza often.

Green and Red Tomato and Corn Soup

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2005
Wonderful summer soup. I put a lot more corn than was called for and cut back the broth to 4 or 5 cups so that it would be thicker. We added some hot sauce when served.

Portuguese Sweet Bread I

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2001
Wonderful recipe! It was nearly as simple as using a mix, rose higher than any bread I've made, baked beautifully and tasted fantastic. My kids really love this stuff and my 7 year old could nearly make it herself! Thanks for this one!
