Pie Crust I

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
I used the multiplier to make crusts for 6 pies, beware the amt of water you use when doubling this recipe better to work by tablespoons when adding. Also bagged up the dough and refrigerated over night then rolls out each crust while keeping the others in the fridge - easy as pie! Stuck to the rolling pin only a couple of times out of 6crusts - I'm saving this recipe!

Mrs. Sigg's Fresh Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 6, 2011
I used this recipe to prepare 6pies ahead of tome for the holidays - the online multiplier was so wrong ... I wound up with enough filling for 12 pies instead of six. Could use more spice so I added extra cinnamon. I found 2 1/2 cups filled a pie crust, it puffs while cooking but flattens while cooling.

Easy Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2008
wondering what type of rice was used, although after an hour of cooking the chicken was still RAW ... turned heat up to 375*F and will try again.

Chinese Cabbage Salad

Reviewed: May 18, 2008
This is a staple at all family gatherings, only we use coleslaw mix in place of the carrots & cabbage, and cashews or sunflower nuts in place of the sesame seeds. We actually like it better the next day even though the noodles get soft.

Raspberry Kielbasa over Cheese Grits

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2006
You must really like grits for this recipe. my kids couldn't stand it. my kielbasa wasn't thoroughly thawed and the sauce turned out really thin; but what was interesting was the sauce tasted like I had put in mustard even though I hadn't. My polish ancestors are rolling in their graves with this one.
