Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
This turned out fantastic!!!!! I tweeked it up a bit though. To the water I added fresh garlic cloves, one onion quartered, cracked black pepper and Memphis Rub seasoning. These were so tender I had to be careful taking them out of the pot!!!

Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
This recipe was pretty good. I used garlic chicken broth instead of plain. Im glad I did because without the garlic I think this recipe would've been very bland. Next time Im going to add in sauteed onions and Asiago cheese. Overall it was pretty good and I'd make this again. My family liked it also.

Vanilla - Chocolate Powdered Sugar Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2008
Pretty good for a quick frosting. A bit on the sweet side though and I had to add more milk cause it was too thick to ice the cake with. I'd make it again.

Dill Poached Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2007
This was a really great dish. Who knew such little ingredients would make salmon taste this fantastic! The salmon was so moist. Hubby liked it and he's not a salmon lover. I also added a clove of garlic to the pot while it was cooking. This is definitely a keeper!

Black Bottom Cupcakes I

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2006
Very good! We really enjoyed this recipe. I don't like messing with making cupcakes so I made this as a cake instead. I spread the cream cheese over the cake mix and baked. It tasted more like a cream cheese brownie. I loved it. The ONLY reason I did'nt give this 5 stars was because of the cider vinegar. I did'nt like the "bite" it gave the cake. But it wasn't bad enough for me not to enjoy the cake. Next time I'll just leave out the vinegar. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 31, 2006
This recipe was ok. I was expecting it to taste like a cake but to me and my family it tasted like a chocolate muffin.. I was too happy with it.. and the glaze was a bit on the salty side.. I recommend using salt free butter. Oh and it took alot longer than 50 mins in my oven and I have a pretty decent oven.

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2006
This was soo excellent. Rich but not TOO rich like some other Broccoli and Cheese soups I have made in the past. I made a few changes. I added one can chicken broth, one can vegetable broth and a can of water. I also added fresh garlic and cayenne pepper. Thanks for the recipe!

Pork Tenderloin in Bourbon

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2006
THE BEST PORK ROAST EVER!!! OMG this was soooooo good!!!! Even my hubby, who CANT STAND pork roasts LOVED this recipe. My picky 4 yr old also gobbled it up. I give this 5 stars for its originality and taste. This a keeper! It was also even TASTIER for leftover 2 nights later. The juices of the apple jelly mixture just soaked up into the pork.. the pork was so tender. We were able to just cut it with our forks. Thank you for submitting this wonderful recipe!

Marie's Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2006
Very good!!! I cooked my roast for 6 hrs instead of 8-10 and still was very tender. I made juices into gravy using whole wheat flour. Was excellent! I also omitted the potatoes and carrots and it was still tasty. My family really enjoyed it. Thanks for the recipe!

Unbelievable Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2006
This recipe was EXCELLENT! We absolutely loved it. It's very hard to find marinades that really soak into the chicken breast. This totally did and I was very happy. Livened up the chicken breast big time. This is definitely a keeper. Thanks for submitting!

Frosty

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2006
This recipe was really yummy but it was also very watery which sort of disappointed me. I used lemon extract instead of vanilla cause I was making a lemon cake. I poked holes in the cakes and poured it on and the cake soaked up the glaze. It was still very taste. I just wish it was thicker.

Sweet and Gooey Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2006
Im sorry but these wings were waaayyy too salty! Im very surprised it got such rave reviews. The base flavor was good but the saltiness made these wings barely edible. Maybe if low sodium soy was used it wouldve been better. Im sorry but I cant recommend this. I give it 2 stars for a good baseline taste.. only if I couldve enjoyed them. :(

Chicken Marinade

This is the first marinade I used on chicken breast that actually held a ton of flavor!! It's hard to find a marinade that really penetrates the breast. I loved it and so did my family!
