I am a wife and mother of 2 first and fore most, and I work foe a financial company, which I just started about a week ago. I love to cook and had hoped to be a professional chef, but I consider myself a private chef for my family which is an even better position, I also am big in to Suzanne Somers Somersize programs, her recipes are mainly low to no carb and they are real foods, the kind of fats and good carbs our body needs.
My favorite things to cook
It would have to be things I create, like soups and casseroles.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Being from the south we have always had ham on Easter, fried fish dinners and of course fried chicken. My husband on the other hand is spanish and so we make tamales at Christmas time and I make a recipe his grandma taught me called chilli wedito. I will be sharing that recipe soon.
My cooking triumphs
I would have to say making red chilli(not Texas chilli) from chilli pods that actually tasted good, I have been working on that since we married 12 years ago.
My cooking tragedies
biscuits, cheese cake (if anyone has some tips for making cheese cake with splenda im all ears) and most baked goods.
