Homemade Crispy Seasoned French Fries

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2009
GREAT!!!!! Just finished making 5lbs of these fries and the first three batches didn't make it to the dinner table!! I did add a few extra seasonings, but basically follwed the recipe and the family LOVED them! ***I had to make a run halfway through cooking and notcied that the fries made AFTER the batter had sat for 30 minutes were much, much more crispier than those made immediately after it was mixed!*** Thanks for sharing!!

Spinach and Strawberry Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
Wonderful!Made it for dinner last night! The salad fanatic huddy loved it and the kiddo has requested me to make it once a week!! I only gave four stars because I didn't use all the ingredients. I left out the poppy and sesame seeds, as well as the almonds, but I did add mandarin oranges. It still was great and I am waiting to make it next week with ALL the ingredients! TY!

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2009
I loved the flavor of this salmon!! Even the hubby said he'd eat this salmon because it tastes like more that fish!! LOL I didn't get to cook this dish in the oven, as my heating elements fried during the preheat. I ended up tossing them in a oiled up, high heated pan until they had a nice coat on them!! Can't wait to try in the oven! TY!!

Black Bean Cigars

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2009
WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! This was one of my first attempts at a veggie meal (I made it about 6 weeks ago!)and the husband and kiddo RAVED!! Although I cut the recipe by half, there was still too much for the three of us, so I opted to freeze half the filling to use later. When unexpected guests popped up today, I was able to 'WOW' them with the leftovers!! Thanks!!

Peppered Shrimp Alfredo

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2009
Not much to say about this one, except that we love it!! I've cooked it twice now. ~~~The second time I made this, I didn't use peppers, but opted instead for 'roasted red pepper' alfredo sauce. In a word: FANTASTIC!!!~~~

Perfect!! My 8 yr old made these for daddy's Xmas gift- and they were a huge success!! Very simple to prepare, easy to bake, and the finished product melts in your mouth! We followed the recipe to the tee! Everything was perfect!! ~~I did want to add that 1 tbs of dough is sufficient!~~

Lemon Chicken III

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
This is my newest recipe that I love to cook and NOT share!! It is so easy and tastes so good that I don't want others cooking it! LOL My family is burnt out on chicken, but my husband said 'yeah, now I could eat this once a week!' and my 8 year old daughter said 'Now we can make it instead of ordering it'!! WONDERFUL!! (I tossed all the marinade and used fresh lemon juice in the sauce as another reviewer added)

Fried Butterflied Shrimp

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
THE BEST SHRIMP EVER!! I was hoping this would be easy enough for my family to make when I requested it for my Mother's Day dinner. To my surprise, and theirs, it was much better than we expected!! They followed the recipe to the tee, and our taste buds were truly pleased!! As stated by previous reviewers, this gives restaurant quality shrimp! Thanks!!

Stove Top Tamale Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
Very easy to make, very easy to serve and even easier to clean up!! I love this and so did the kids! At first glance, they said "Yuck" to the beans, but once they started eating it- it was do very quick, with requests for dinner the next day. I love the way the cornbread cooks up so nice and fluffy! I'll never bake this again! Thanks!!

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2008
Oh My Gosh!! This was the easiest dish to make and everyone wanted more! I personally didn't like enchiladas, so I was a bit taken back when asked by my kids to make them for dinner. I originally used this recipe because it was a quick option. Not only was it quick, it was very simple and extremely satisfying!!! Yes, I even liked it! The kids decided that THEY would used this recipe to cook dinner for the parents once a week!!
