My favorite things to cook
My all times favorites are good ole southern cooking and Irish foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The holiday's are teh favorite. We always have super times for Saint Patricks Day...Easter ...Thanksgiving and Christmas. But we don't wait for special occassions to ahve a blast in the kitchen, especially trying to teach the great grand kids now.
My cooking triumphs
My Mama's 75th birthday. My sister came from to Texas to Arizona where I was living with Mama,as she was very ill and we thru her a 75th birthday surprise party.I fixed all her favorites and we had about 50 people that came.We had a huge card made and all the people signed it for her.
My cooking tragedies
My first dinner for my new husband when i was 16 years old.The busicuts were as hard as brick bats and the chicken was not cooked all the way.The beans were not cooked thru either. He never did forget it and would tell people about it thru our 32 tears of married life. The second thing was I fried all the fish we caught one day of fishing with my Mama and step dad.Yhey looked absolutely perfect. They were so golden brown and crispy..The thing I forgot and didn't know was that you had to take the scales off.
