Raisin Buttermilk Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2012
Very good! But, if substituting with blueberries, USE FRESH! I used frozen (thawed them and even drained them and the cake did not bake well around them - mushy -- and would have burnt the top had I baked it longer. Great taste. I did 1.5 times the topping and added 2 tsp. vanilla to the batter. Yum!

Candy Cane Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
Excellent! Used one package of 12 large/regular candy canes to make 1 batch and saved out a few crushed pieces to sprinkle on the top after swirling about 4 drops of food coloring (did not stir in). I think the peppermint flavor is just right as is. Tastes delicious!!! Yum! Will definitely make again. Can't wait to share with my family!

Crackle Top Molasses Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2011
VEry good! But do not add any salt as one reviewer suggested. Make as it - or do 1/2 wheat flour & half white, 1/2 brown sugar & half white, heaping measurements of ginger and cloves, and 1 tsp. vanilla Were soft after placing on wax paper. Yum!

Honey Graham Crackers

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2011
Awesome! Made stars, leaves, hearts and also small rectangles cut with a pastry cutter! My son and I love them! Also added 3 Tbs. ground flax seed to add nutrients and texture. Didn't add the cinnamon on top, but plan to next time!

Sausage Breakfast Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
Awesome! Used 5 eggs - leftovers good, too; texture is altered a bit, but flavor is enhanced. Only used 12 oz. of sausage and still had enough zest!

Best Ever Pie Crust

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
Would not recommend this at all! Way too much shortening! And really not easy to work with, even after refrigerating. It ruined my holiday pies! Sorry - I wish it would have been awesome.

Baked Asparagus with Balsamic Butter Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
Exceptional! Perfect with our roast Easter lamb! Could double sauce, if desired - It doesn't make much; but the sauce does have a punch and you don't need much to add an incredible flavor to the asparagus. A MUST make!

These are fantastic! I used all whole wheat flour and applesauce in place of the oil. Really filling and delicious. Made the buttermilk syrup recipe from this site - perfect combo. Recipe only makes six, so may want to dbl. if you want to freeze some. Thanks so much for submitting this!

Grandma's Slow Cooker Vegetarian Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2006
Exceptional! Decided to try being vegetarian for a month and turns out we had a chili fest at church on October 1st -- so tried this recipe and it was a hit! We overheard many members of the congregation commenting on how delicious it was! Glad to have one great recipe to start our vegetarian challenge!

Chicken Satay

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2006
It was perfect. Also cooked it on the George Foreman on the skewers. No need to make a peanut sauce, esp. if you serve it with the peanut butter noodles on this site - exceptional. Served with pan-fried asparagus. Marinated the chicken for 3 hours and was very flavor-filled.

Wonderful! High definition flavors blended to create a phononmenal dish. We served it with the Chicken Satay on this site and stir fried asparagus. We are exicited to eat the chilled leftovers.
