German Lasagna

I followed the advise of some of the reviewers...I sauteed the sausage with onions. To that I added some ground mustard and the sour kraut. I let this all cook together. I used a combo of swiss, provolone and queso (mexican) melting cheese. It was really good. My husband commented it was weird but good and had 3 helpings. I loved it too!

Aunty Pasto's Seafood Lasagna

This was a good recipe. I halfed the soup, using only one can. I sauted the mushrooms with a splash of Worchestershire, garlic and onions...then I deglazed them with cream sherry instead of wine. I used cottage/cream cheese and 2 packages of crab meat mixed in. I used about a dozen shrimp chopped. It wasn't runny at all. Very delicious. I added the mushroom soup to the mushrooms instead of using it how the recipe calls for it. Oh, I also used a tubular pasta because I didn't have lasagna noodles. I will make this again.

Red Pepper Cornmeal Souffle

well...I have never made a souffle...but...I was game to try. I had high hopes for it whilst in the was high and fluffy...but as soon as I took it out it fell. Then I found the texture to be a little wattery. I guess I messed it up. However, it still tasted good. I didn't have cream of tartar...maybe that is what messed me up.

Vegetarian Four Cheese Lasagna

This was very good. I took the advise of some who had made this previously and added cream to the tomato sauce. I also used butternut squash instead of pumpkin...delicious...I should have doubled the amount of squash. To me it made the lasagna distinctive. Also it needed more eggplant. I didn't use roasted tomatos because of the expense...I hope it wasn't a mistake. Overall, the dish was fabulous!

Wonderful recipe.My family loved it. The sauce would be great on steaks too!!! Even my 9 year-old was loving the sauce. Definitely will make it again!
