Eileen's Spicy Gingerbread Men

Although the dough was a little bit of a pain to work with (would crack and not roll out easily), the cookies turned out great! I sub'd out the ground cloves for all spice (didn't have any cloves on hand) and they turned out yummy. Looking forward to icing them and getting some ready for Santa!

This recipe was pretty bland. I tried spicing it up a bit with some garlic and Worcestershire sauce, but it still lacked in flavor. Maybe a step up from Hamburger Helper, but not much. Husband liked it okay, as did my son, but I was not impressed.

Easy Pizza Sauce I

Made this for dinner tonight and although not cooked onto pizza yet, tastes wonderful!! Took the recommendations from others and cut down water to 1 cup and oil down to 1/4 cup. Consistency is perfect! I also added a 1/2 tsp of sugar to balance out the acid from the tomatoes. Can't wait to add it to Ricardo's Pizza Crust!!! YUMMY!!!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

I made these this evening with my son and husband. We also followed the recipe to the letter, but were a little disappointed. Maybe I read too many reviews that hyped these up. One, we didn't use name brand chocolate chips or pudding (does that make a difference?). Two, my cookies turned out flatter than the picture advertising the picture. I don't know, but they seemed to be lacking something. Maybe I should have added the baking powder and salt, as some other reviewers recommended. Probably won't be making these again, but we'll definitely eat up what we've got! They're definitely edible!

Bacon Roasted Chicken

This recipe was pretty tasty! I added diced apples and carrots to the cavity which added a little sweet flavor to the meat. The bacon was super yummy. We love bacon in our family so I wrapped the whole bird in it (aside from the underside). Kept the chicken very moist. We added our own rub to the outside of the bird. Was surprised that more bacon flavor didn't absorb into the bird. It was a great roasted chicken, but I expected a little more bacon flavor. Will still fix again!

Baked Chicken Nuggets

Don't substitute the butter, it's worth the calories! My whole family LOVED these nuggets. Definite keeper!
