Key Lime Pie VII

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2012
I have never made a key lime recipe with sour cream and without eggs. I have been missing out all these years! I made this recipe twice in one week! Everyone loved it! This will be my go to Key lime recipe. It is very balanced, creamy, and a decadent recipe! Thanks to the other reviews for the news about using 2 cans of sweetened condensed milk! I made my own crust and added a little salt. I think this would be good with crust made of graham and pretzel crumbs. Many people asked for the recipe!

Portobello Mushroom Burgers

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2011
This was truly delicious!! I cooked these on an indoor electric grill. It cooked very quickly and was juicy! I would choose this over a beef burger any day! I will be making these again and again.

All-Day Apple Butter

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2010
I love this recipe! I made it with local Macintosh apples from a farm down the road. I love the simplicity of the recipe. The hardest part was peeling and cutting the apples. I will never buy apple butter again! The beautiful vibrancy of the apples really shined through and the spices/sugar just complemented it perfectly! I ended up canning it.

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Sep. 11, 2010
This was a great recipe! I didn't have canned pumpkin, so I used fresh pumpkin that I had roasted and pureed myself. Other than the pumpkin, I followed the recipe exactly. The bread was so moist and had a very balanced flavor. I was a little afraid that it would be too strong with the amount of spices used, but it turned out perfectly! This is going to become my go to recipe this fall/Thanksgiving!! I ended up making 1 loaf of bread, 12 cupcakes, and 1-9 inch layer.

This is a really yummy fast dinner! I ended up using golden mushroom soup instead of the onion soup and it was great! Thank you for this recipe :)

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: May 31, 2010
This is the first recipe that I've used that set up perfectly and was shiny! It was wonderful!! My husband loves these cookies, but I could never get them right. I boiled the butter mixture for 2 1/2 minutes after the rolling boil started. I only had natural PB, and it worked well in the recipe. Thank you!

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2008
This a quick recipe that hits the spot when you have a chocolate craving. When they came out of the oven, I sprinkled cinnamon on top, which really added an intensity and depth to the brownies. These could be a great base recipe for experimenting with different flavor combos too! I made the brownies in a pie pan and baked them for 21 minutes.

Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
This was a good and much easier version of the flourless chocolate cake. I have made this twice. The second time, I added orange extract and it was purely divine! This is my dream dessert!

Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2006
I've made this recipe twice for get togethers with my parents and everyone has loved it. The first time, I used a cup of splenda, cup of brown sugar, and a cup of white sugar. The second time, I followed the recipe with the full 4 cups of white sugar, and I added walnuts and raisins. I liked this version much better. I feel like it was moister and had a better flavor. This is such a great recipe that encompasses the feeling of fall! I plan to use this for all my pumpkin bread recipes now.

Chicken, Stuffing and Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2006
This is a very good recipe to have in your family dinner/fussy kids recipe collection. Its tasty, filling and is so comforting! I used a 6 oz box of chicken flavored stuffing and had mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar. It was so yummy. Ok, its not gourmet, but it tastes good and is so easy to make, many times, simple is best.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2006
These were the absolute best chocolate chip cookies that I have ever had! They were so chewy and moist. The oatmeal adds a great consistency to the cookies. I doubled the recipe because I thougt it wouldn't make much, but I made two dozen large cookies. The only recipe that I will use from now on!
