Kitty Litter Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2012
My husband was totally grossed out when I made this for a work Halloween party...but everyone at work LOVED it. This was actually the biggest hit and people couldn't stop talking about it and taking pictures! I made it pretty much as is except I used the brownies as well. It was going to sit for awhile and I didn't want the tootsie rolls to break a tooth. I found this a bit dry even though I used 2 large boxes of the vanilla pudding. It was also hard to stir but over all a very easy recipe for a beginner like me!

Mouse's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2011
I made this for my 2 year old neice for a party. This is all she talks about! She even has her mom calling me to make it for her. I used whole wheat macaroni elbows and like the other reviewers used (2) 8oz bags of organic shredded cheese. From the mouth of my neice - this is yummy and she loves Aunty's mac and cheese...sorry mouse. :)

OREO® and Fudge Ice Cream Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
I made this for a holiday event and my sister, who is a mini Betty Crocker, said this dessert was so good, I could sell it and make money. I was a little surprised as it was so easy.

Slow Cooker Ham

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
When my mother walked in and saw that I was cooking the Christmas ham in the crock pot - she freaked out and starting to look at take out menus. When she took a taste, she now thinks I"m a genius! Make sure you use the crock pot liner for sure. It gets sticky. The only thing I did was use some of the extra sauce to sweeten my carrots. It was a huge hit!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2011
I am not a cook but I looked like a professional when I showed up with this cheesecake. I tried the water bath and still mine cracked. No worries though because when I cut it, you couldn't tell. :) This makes a ton of cheesecake so make sure you have a good sized group to share it with or you'll have it for awhile!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
So I started a new job and made this cake into cup cakes for a fundraiser event. I added 1/2 white chocolate chips and 1/2 milk chocolate chips but pretty much followed the directions to a tee. For Halloween, I added a cute little spider by adding a junior mint on the top and used wilton black icing for the legs. These were a hit at the fundraiser and the kids LOVED them!

Cocktail Meatballs

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
Like others, I used Italian Style frozen meatballs. 3 hours before my party, I combined the bag of frozen meatballs with 1 package Lipton soup mix, chili starter sauce and the few remaining incrediants into my crock pot. My family loves things on the spicy side, so I added just about 2 tbsps of Franks Red Hot Sauce. This was a HUGE hit at my party! Everyone commented on how someone with the reputation for bad cooking could make such amazing meatballs. What a great comment from a full Italian family! Thank you for making me the hero of the party and keeping this my little meatball secret! :O) 5-stars recipe all day long!

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2009
I'm the worst cook on the planet; however my fiance was very suprised (and a little nervous) when I threw this meal together so quickly! As suggested by other reviewers, I also added some frozen stir fry veggies. I also served this over a bed of white rice. FANTASTIC, QUICK, AND PERFECT! ***I made this again for my sister in law who doesn't eat meat. She loved it! Even asked for the recipe. You guys are making me look so good. People think I can actually cook now! HA...

I am the title holder of the worse cook of all time so let me tell you how pleased I was when I received a call from my step daughter's mother. She wanted this recipe! HA...that's never happened before. This is now a quick and easy staple recipe for me and my family. I even cook this for dinner parties!
