Oven Roasted Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2014
This was a fantastic homemade teriyaki recipe. I followed as is and it turned out perfect. The only comment I have is that an hour was way too long to bake the chicken. 40 minutes was perfect and the chicken was perfectly moist. Will use this recipe again and again!

Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2014
This was a very easy and fantastic recipe. My parents raved about how tender the chicken was. I served with a side of wild rice and green beans. It was a hit. I like recipes that are easy to tweak with what you have in the house and this is definitely one of them. Will be used again!!!

Spinach Cheese Appetizers

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
I wanted to make this lighter so I omitted the butter and used spray on the pan instead. However, I amped it up by sauteeing onions, garlic and fresh spinach to add to the 10 oz frozen spinach. I also added bacon chunks. I cut back on the cheese and only put 2 cups in. I was NOT happy with this. I would do the recommended chesse and I would add the butter. I'll try this one more time with the butter, but considering how much I added to it, I was shocked at how bland it was.

German Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2010
My family RAVED about this cake. It was fantastic. Some of the advise I followed was adding 6 oz chocalate to the cake mix. You need 1-1/2 portions for the frosting as others recommended. Definatley brown the pecans and coconut. I didn't know how "thickened" it should be while I cooked the frosting on the stove. I had to add powder sugar to it later to thicken it up. It was FANTASTIC frosting. This will be my "go to" recipe for German Chocolate Cake!!!!!

Juicy Thanksgiving Turkey

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
LOVED this recipe. It IS the most moist turkey I've ever made and the seasons and taste are NOT overwhelming so it's a great dish when paired with heavier side dishes. Also I've had a great time making other recipes with the leftovers and I haven't had to worry about the taste changing the recipes.

Beer Cheese Dip II

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
great taste, but next time i'll use whipped cream cheese to hopefully creative a smoother/softer texture. The pretzels and crackers kept breaking in it because it was so thick.

this threw my diet out the window.....i could eat the whole pan! I topped with ganache. one small carton of whipping cream and bring to a boil. take off stove and pour over a bags worth of choc chips. once it was well blended i put the ganache in the fridge to stiffen it up. then i poured over the dessert. SO FANTASTIC. i took to a football party and didn't bring any home!
