Zesty Slow-Cooker Italian Pot Roast

Only substitution I made was using green beans instead of celery because nobody in my family likes celery. I don't know if it's my slow cooker (it's a Cuisinart electronic) but the meat was way overcooked and tough and the veggies were not cooked enough and crunchy. Terrible! I didn't think it was especially tasty either. If it was tasty, I would try it again, this time putting the veggies in first and then adding the meat a few hours later.

Pecan Pie Bars I

I made exactly as the recipe states. These were very , very good. They are quite heavy though so a tiny piece is all you need. Very buttery and very sweet. Since you only eat a small portion, I might want to play around with cutting the recipe in half because the big jelly roll pan makes quite a lot.

Mom's Yummy Sweet Stuffing

This recipe is now my standard Thanksgiving Day stuffing. It is delicious and moist. I add golden delicious raisins and dried cranberries to it as well. I always stuff the bird with it, but I am going to try it with the broth and bake it to use it all year long. It's too yummy to just have on Thanksgiving only.

Pork Chops for the Slow Cooker

Love these chops! Not a big fan of pork in general, but this recipes makes the pork chops melt in your mouth. You don't even need a knife to cut them, they are so tender. I have tried 6 hours on low and 4 hours on high and the LOW setting makes them much, much better than high.
