Fabulous Beef Tenderloin

I sure hate being one of the exceptions here but I didn't care for this. I used unsalted butter and low sodium soy and this was nothing but salt. I should of gone with my intuition on this one. Couldn't imagine this being good but with all the great ratings I had to try. All this cut needs is a nice spice rub and I will stick with that in the future. I was not the only one in my family who did not care for this.

Cheesy Artichoke Squares

We did not care for this at all. It was very bland but rich at the same time. It definitely needs something. I served it at an open house and while everything else was gone or almost gone there was lots of this left. Sorry will not make again.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

I used all the ingredients as is just substituted fresh spinach and real bacon and altered the technique a bit. After cooking the bacon I kept a couple tbls. of the bacon fat and used it to saute the spinach. Let that drain then sauteed the mushrooms and garlic in the same pan. Then I just added all the step 3 ingredients into the same pan and finished layering as directed. Only other change I made was to shred my chicken breasts and used low fat soup and non fat half n half. Loved this!!

Sausage Spinach Bake

This was very tasty. I made it for dinner - quick and easy but would make a wonderful breakfast or brunch meal. Only change I made was to use non fat half-n-half. Next time I think I might even use ground turkey or turkey sausage to make it a bit more healthy. Mushrooms would probably be a good addition to this if you are into mushrooms :)) Thanks kathleen!

Spanish Rice Bake

This is outstanding. Love everything about this. Have made it with and without meat and when I use meat I use ground turkey or chicken. I have also added 1 to 2 diced jalapenos for some heat. Flexible recipe........My go to spanish rice recipe! Thanks Melodie.

Chicken Asparagus Roll-Ups

This was pretty good altho I think it was alittle heavy on the lemon juice. My lemon was pretty big but I will only use 1/2 lemon next time. Enjoyed it and will try it again. Thanks.

Absolute Best Potato Casserole

I had some ham to use up and tried this. It was pretty good - nothing sensational but enjoyable. I used fresh cauliflower and had no trouble with the potatoes and cauliflower being fully cooked - they were done perfectly. Thanks for the recipe Ersta!

Hot Bean Dip

Everyone enjoyed this dip but most didn't think it was spicy enough. I even added a small can of diced green chilis which added a nice taste. Next time I would either use the "hot" taco seasoning or maybe add some jalapenos. Good dip and it makes a huge amout - could definitely be halved for smaller crowds. Thanks J. Van Liere.

Asparagus Wrapped in Crisp Prosciutto

Wonderful stuff. I tried this with the prosciutto and some thin sliced bacon and definitely preferred the prosciutto. The bacon did not get crisp enough by the time the asparagus was cocoked. It cooks fast. This was great and I will make it again for sure. Thanks for sharing Thaider.

Glenda's Mandarin Orange Salad

Only reason I did not give this a 5 is because I listened to the other reviews on the sweetness and cut the sugar in half and was pleased with the result. Can't imagine using all the sugar called for. This dressing is excellent and goes perfectly on this salad. Was enjoyed by all. Thanks for sharing Sarah!

Carrot Pineapple Cake I

I made this cake as is except for replacing half the oil with applesauce and I used pecans instead of walnuts. This cake is wonderful. Very moist dense cake and the frosting makes this perfect. Thanks for the great recipe that I will share and use often Linda!!

Amazing Crusted Chicken

This was pretty good. I put the crackers and french-fried onions in the food processor to crush then mixed with panko italian seasoned bread crumbs and the rest of the breading seasonings. I pounded my chicken breasts flat before the mayo and breading. I should have cooked these for only 30 min. as mine came out just a bit dry due to the high cooking temp. and having pounded mine thin. Very tasty tho and had a wonderful crispy crust. Will make again. Thanks for sharing Chefbound!

Slow Cooker Butter Chicken

We really enjoyed this. I had everything except for the cardamom pods which I have no idea what kind of flavor they impart so hope I wasn't missing out too much. Great meal over rice and with some warm whole wheat naan. Will make again for sure. Thanks for sharing!!

Dijon Crusted Halibut

We loved this. I went light on the horseradish as it's not one of my fav. flavors but I like a hint of it and it does go well in this mix. Went a bit heavy on the lemon juice and I have become a devoted panko fan for bread crumbs. Just about all I use now and they are great on this - light and crunchy. Thanks for sharing Christy. Will use this often.

Easy Honey Mustard Mozzarella Chicken

This was very good and very easy. Next time I will put the bacon on a bit sooner so it will crisp up more. 10 minutes was not enough time to accomplish that, then add the cheese after it has become crisp. Will use this recipe often. Thanks for sharing.
