Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2007
I've never made a pot roast so I decided this would be a good one to try for my first attempt and it was great!!! Thinking about making this a Sunday tradition.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2007
Like others have said the sauce may be time consuming but it is very tasty!! It was very tasty and lasted me and my husband for days! Leftovers were even better than the first night. I also used precooked lasagne noodles, which cut down on my time and tasted perfect!

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2007
I've never made Chicken Cordon Bleu but this recipe was simple to follow. I didn't have wine on hand so like others I just used Chicken broth. Wasn't sure how to put toothpicks in, but what I did worked out. The sauce was really good and flavorful. I made my chicken pretty thin and only had to cook it for about 20 minutes. Delicious!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

Reviewed: Mar. 28, 2007
I've made this one several times and love it. Don't overdo the cheese, it doesn't taste right. Also be careful not to overcook the peppers or else they will just fall apart and you can't stuff them with the rice/beef mixture. I serve with cottage cheese and maybe a slice of bread. Really easy to make and very good.

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2007
I don't like fish particularly much but I tried this recipe and now I'm an extreme fan! The fish is very mild. I add a little more parmesan, and although the recipe didn't specify, grated and shredded work just fine. Served with wild rice and steamed veggies, FABULOUS! ***update*** I've made this many times and I followed the advice of others and sprinkled the fish with old bay seasoning and then put the parmesan mixture on top. It was really good!!

Jack's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2006
I thought that these cookies were great! I used extra oatmeal and my batch wasn't the least bit gooey! Perfect! I like them best straight from the oven so they dont harden.

Mulligatawny Soup I

Reviewed: Mar. 11, 2006
Excellent! I doubled the curry and used 1/2 and 1/2 and it tastes just as good but with fewer calories. I also used a rotiseree chicken and it adds a lot of great flavor to the soup. I also add about a cup more broth because I also add more carrots and rice. Really great recipe! Thanks so much! My husband begs for this soup all of the time!
