My favorite things to cook
I'm great at stir-fry, and experimenting with just about any kind of cuisine. I'm one of those pinch-and-dab kind of cooks. I also love baking bread and pastries. I tend to veer towards old European favorites, but am always up for something different.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My sister makes corned beef and cabbage every year for St. Patrick's day. I supply the soda bread, beer bread, and dessert.

Teaching myself how make French pastry, especially croissants.
My cooking tragedies
Back in the early days, I didn't realize that habanero chilies were the strongest peppers ever and threw a big handful into my wok. My roommate and I were choking for days.
