Almond Buttercrunch Candy II

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2008
This was so easy to make and SO good! No baking involved, but you really do have to stir for the full five minutes as stated in the recipe... very YUMMY - and looks like a cute gift when SOME is packaged in a small clear cello bag tied with a ribbon...

Italian Meat Loaves

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2007
I did like this recipe, but I used ground turkey and did not have Worcestershire Sauce so although I drastically changed the main ingredient (turkey as opposed to ground beef) and did not include the Worcestershire sauce - this was great. One more thing, if you are juggling kids and only have one hand free, you can use an ice-cream scoop and put the meat in a muffin pan - I did and it really worked out.

Easy Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2007
These pancakes are so good - if anyone thinks a box mix is easier they are wrong - taste is everything and these beat the pants off any box mix - let it sit after stiring and the mix will rise and the texture will get fluffy, then stir again before putting the batter in the pan - it seems to do something because this is a thick mix (supposed to be) so if your are used to a box mix the texture will throw you off at first, but anyway REAL MAPLE syrup rules, so use it. Also, I add freshly whipped cream on top of these pancakes - that is easy too - just whip (on high or med-high) some heavy cream for a few minutes and you'll have fresh whipped cream :)

Quick Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2007
These are SO easy and SO good. Only problem - eating too many. I find the best way to make these it to keep it simple, I don't kneed the dough - just drop by the spoonfuls after stiring... mmm mmm mmm. PS - I have used a napkin ring (a metal one) to cut biscuits when I do roll them - especially good for kids size...

Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
***** I did not have skim milk (or any milk left!) so I used Carnation Instant Milk & the recipe still worked really good. ***** These are SO good. I made them yesterday and again this morning.
