Soft Gingersnaps

This is a wonderful recipe. I served it at a youth function and the platter was gone! I followed the recipe exactly and had wonderful results. I baked on a stoneware and a regular cookie pan and both we excellent. If you are looking a spicy(ish) cookie with great holiday flavors, this is it!!

Russian Tea Cakes I

Absolutely delicious. I make these pretty much exactly at wrote except I used half walnuts and half pecans. I creamed my butter first, then added the vanilla and powdered sugar. I made sure these items were creamed well and then added the flour. The nuts were last and everything was mixed well. I had no problems with a crumbly dough. I roll my cookies twice in powdered sugar, once right out of the oven and then the second time right before serving. They are some of our favorite cookies and are always welcomed in cookie tins as gifts. We try to make this recipe every Christmas. I recommend you try this recipe as well- delicious.

I made this recipe tonight- just like stated, except for the buttermilk I used 2 T vinegar and filled the rest of the measuring cup with milk. That is the only substitution I made- and they were fabulous! My dh bought a pancake puff for me and I looked around online for a few recipes. This one was what I was looking for and didn't disappoint!!! Not one person complained at all, they gobbled them up fast. I will definitely make this recipe again.

Banana Muffins II

This is the best banana muffin recipe I have ever made. I made a double batch of this recipe so that we would have enough for snacks later. The only things I did different was use white wheat flour and whole wheat pastry flour, half margarine and half butter and added a little vanilla.These were absolutely fabulous!!! Not one complaint in my picky bunch.
