Cheddar Chicken

had trouble getting the mix to adhere to the chicken. was it the melted butter instead of an egg bath? don't know, and probably won't find out...there are too many good chicken recipes available to bother fussing with this.

Cheddar Baked Chicken

will definately go in my chicken breast rotation. i only greased the bottom of the pan, i liked the crispiness of the coating, but didn't really care for the taste of the melted butter. i going to have to find some kind of substitute for the butter, because i believe it adds to the crispiness.

used a mild salsa 'cause i don't know what picante is nor could i find any. being a male, i don't ask for help. turned out very well. next time i'm going to top it with some chopped green onions and some shredded cheddar.

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

next time (note i said there will be a next time) i'll use less soy sauce, for it was a little overpowering. the sauce was a little too thin, so maybe more cornstarch is in order. i was too late to use the slow cooker so i cooked it in a 325 oven for two hours and it turned out very well.

excellant recipe. next time i'll double the sauce. there was too much moisture in the chicken breasts and it made the sauce pretty runny, so i'm wondering if i added some cornstarch, would this solve the problem?

followed the advice of others and doubled the sauce. excellant. didn't have the mustardy taste others had noted, perhaps because i used dijon. i used 2 lbs. of hamberger, so i used 2 eggs. turns out i should have used 3 eggs, because the pattiesdidn't bind that well, due to the addition of bread crumbs and the sauce mixture.
