New England Bean Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2014
This is a very good dip, bean salad, sandwich. Too much dressing though. I usually half the dressing ingredients, only 1 Tbsp of relish, and add extra beans. This is tasty in a pita, or sandwich roll. I will make this again and again.

Chocolate Chip Cookies with Truvia® Baking Blend

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2013
These cookies taste like a normal chocolate chip cookie should taste! But, my cookies did not flatten out as I expected, so next time I will flatten them a bit before baking. I used semi-sweet chocolate chips, and about a third whole grain white flour. My husband likes these too which is great because I made them for him.

Japanese Beef Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2013
This was surprisingly easy to make and very good too. All my picky's ate this dish, so I know I will make it again. I was fresh out of Chinese cabbage, so I substituted broccoli for a delicious dinner.

Vincente's Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2013
This was OK. Admittedly, I always sub low fat alternatives. That said, my kids ate their servings. My daughter commented that she did not like the texture, as it wasn't real creamy. Still, both kids ate it, and it's not box mix. Thank you for sharing. BTW my lowfat version had 289 calories, 13 Total Fat, 8 Sat Fat, 14 protein, 29 Carb per MyFitnessPal.com

Cherry Snowball Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2013
I made these for Recipe Group. Using my small cookie scoop I got 20 cookies. I like small recipes, and this one is both good and unique. I still needed to roll the balls, as just dropping them would not have produced a round ball to roll in the powdered sugar. My teens said they are okay. Tomorrow I will share these with some friends. I will likely make these again sometime. Thank you for sharing Blender Woman. Add: My grownup friends liked these a lot.

Cornmeal-Crusted Black Bean Burger

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2013
These were good, but a little crumbly. I think they might bind better if I mix the corn meal into the bean mix.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: May 2, 2013
Very good cookies, and I like that you don't have to smash them. I only had 1/4 shortening so I subbed 1/4 corn oil. Turned out fine. Note: Using my BH&G cookie scoop, I got 5 1/2 dozen cookies.

Very Tasty. Honey, teens & I all liked. I didn't have chili paste, so subbed chili powder. Worked fine. I will make this again.

Chicken with Bouillon

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2013
This was a tasty weeknight item! My husband and teens all liked. I use Move Over Butter spread, and Wyler's sodium free bouillon, so we didn't have the saltiness that other's mentioned. Also, I sprinkled some pepper and poultry seasoning on the chicken tenders.

Marshmallow Hot Fudge Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2013
A great way to use those half dry marshmallows! This sauce is easy, very adaptable, and oh so good on strawberry ice cream! I also had some unsweetened chocolate squares which I melted in with this recipe.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IX

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2013
These are very good cookies, and knowing that they are made with canola oil instead of butter or margarine makes me feel even better about eating them. I had some dried mangos that I needed to use, so I substituted them for the raisins. I prepared the rest of the recipe exactly as written. The recipe doesn't specify, but I used quick oats, and the cookies were perfect. Thank you for sharing your very healthy recipe.

Elbow Macaroni and Kidney Bean Salad

Reviewed: Mar. 12, 2013
This is wonderful. I'm sitting at my table eating this right now for my lunch. I used green onions instead of regular for a milder flavor. Followed the rest of the recipe, tasted and it was good. Then I decided to add more veggies: peas & carrots, more parsley, red bell pepper. Think of this as a Bean & Veggie Salad with some pasta in it. I have been trying to add more veggies into my diet and this is very helpful. Thank you for sharing Jennifer. Update: I made this again, this time using whole wheat macaroni.
