Had some of my Grandmother's tomatoes to use and am so glad this was what I chose to make! Sauce turned out GREAT ... a little chunky, which is perfect for us. I'm planning to add some red pepper flakes and make an arrabiata style sauce.

Mexican Whole Wheat Flour Tortillas

AWESOME WW Tortilla! I used Grapeseed Oil instead of shortening and only whole wheat flour ... they turned out Great! Was very surprised at how easily they rolled out .. no sticking, no mess at all. Can't see a reason to buy tortillas at the store as good as these taste!! Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Jo Jo's Favorite Banana Muffins

Delicious!! Instead of 2 c. flour, I used 1/2 cup wheat flour, 1/2 cup oatmeal and 1/2 c. white flour; cut sugar in half and also used 2 1/2 bananas. Less sugar really made the banana stand out! I baked it as a loaf also and it was great with coffee!

Pumpkin Pie Squares

Awesome fall dessert!! I switched up the flour vs. oats ratio for the crust and used 1 c. oats and 1/2 c. flour. I always cut back on the sugar and only use about 1/2 of what the recipe calls for. Really made the pumpkin take over and it turned out great!

Beef Barley Soup

Awesome Fall Soup!! Made this tonight for supper with some home made whole wheat biscuits and it was a hit! Took advice of a few others and added some frozen peas and corn! I've saved this one to my recipe box! Thanks for sharing it.

White Bean Chicken Chili

I made this for supper tonight and it was GREAT! Followed the suggestions of others (cornstarch, salsa verde, canned corn and extra can of white beans)...This will be a welcome winter meal! Thanks for sharing it!

Great twist on the "same 'ol, same 'ol" coleslaw recipes!! Served this with some extra spicy sloppy-joe's on home made beer bread rolls and it was delicious!! Thanks for sharing the recipe!!
