Dirt Cake I

Very easy to do. I made this for a party tonight where there were alot of kids. The large bowl I had it in was completely empty. I put gummy worms throughout the different dirt layers...it went over well. Thanks!

Butternut Squash Soup II

Super-Duper Chili

Very easy to make. My husband really liked this. It was a little to cheesy for me.....it didn't quite seem like chili b/c of that. That's an easy fix. I just won't add as much cheese next time. Thanks!

Beef or Chicken Enchiladas

We thought this was very bland. It took longer to reduce than the recipe indicated. When it did reduce, the sauce tasted like I used a can of cream of chicken soup with flour.

Mom's Chicken

Very disappointed with this one. After reading reviews with the majority of them being positive, I thought this would turn out better. It was very easy to prepare, but the taste was not good. Basically, we thought it tasted like very salty bbq sauce. I followed the recipe exactly except for using grape instead of plum jelly. I won't be making this again.

Lemon Mustard Chicken

I only marinated my chicken (I used breasts) for 15 minutes and this still had plenty of kick. After reading some of the other reviews, I opted to spray each piece of meat with a non-fat butter spray after I had coated them in the crumb mixture. It definitely wasn't soggy. They turned out well and I will make this again. However, the leftovers weren't very desireable because they were soggy!

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

This recipe is easily given 5 stars! It was sooooo EASY to prepare and the taste was very good. I took the other reviewers advice and added a can of cream of chicken soup. I also added half a pack of taco seasoning. This one is a keeper! Thanks!!!!!

Zesty Chicken and Potatoes

My husband said that this deserves 5 stars. I was thinking more like 4.5. It was EASY to prepare. The taste was flavorful and good. I used chicken breasts and marinated them in a ziploc bag for about 5 hours before baking. I also doubled the marinade to make sure the chicken was completely covered and so that we would have plenty of sauce with the meal. I also added carrots and extra pieces of fresh garlic. I will make it again! THANKS

Tender Onion Baked Chicken

WAY TO SALTY!!!! I even omitted the salt as per other reviewers and it still had way to much salt. That was the overwhelming taste in your mouth. It made it almost inedible. We had to remove the coating before we could stand to eat it. Will never make this again.

Lisa's Lasagna

This was my first time to make a lasanga. It was fairly easy and the taste was good. My husband had 3 helpings!!! I will say that I found the amount of ricotta to be a bit much. Also, after adding the tomato sauce to the meat, I found that it was lacking in taste. I added a package of taco seasoning and it really helped! I will make this again with a few minor changes. Thanks!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

I decided to give this recipe a 5 after I watched my husband finish his supper and get up from the table....he brought the aluminum foil that I had baked the chicken on back to the table and proceeded to eat every crumb that he could find. It was that good!

Honey Glazed Stuffed Chicken

In all fairness, I really can't give this recipe an honest review b/c I substituted velveeta for boursin cheese. I always have velveeta on hand so I thought I would give it a try. It was terrible!!! However, this really maybe a great-tasting recipe with the boursin cheese. Also, it took me a while to prepare because I had lots of trouble cutting a pocket in each breast. If I make this again, I will definitely hunt down some boursin cheese.

Very easy to make. I agree with the other reviews that suggested you add more of the cocoa than what the recipe calls for. It wasn't as "chocolatey" as I thought it would be. I will make it again!

Baked Corn II

I will give this a 5 b/c it was sooo easy to prepare. The only problem I had was the little chunks of flour that were scattered throughout the finished product. Next time, I may sift the flour to make sure there are no clumps. I also think that an hour may be to long to cook. I will shorten the amount of time on my next batch. Overall, it was good!
