Barbeque Bacon Chicken Bake

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2013
I used Jack Daniels sauce and also topped the chicken with Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese in the last few minutes so that it melted. Just like an entry we get a a local dinner.

Chunky Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2013
Great Starter recipe. I also cut back the water we prefer chunkier soups. I also added some corn. I didn't have packaged noodles on hand so made my own noodles. I used the same dough recipe I use for homemade PA duch style pot pie ( many would say chicken and dumplings) but cut noodle strips instead of squares. The entire family thought it was great. I didn't have any leftovers and my husband informed me that he wants me to always make it this way with homemade noodles.

Pennsylvania Dutch Funny Cake

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2011
This is the same recipe that I have made for years that was handed down from my PA Dutch Great Grandmother. I also live around the Mennonites in Kutztown and we all agree you place the batter in the bottom and the chocolate mixture on top. The chocolate will end up at the bottom, that is why it's called funny cake.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2011
This was very good. I did chang two things. I used boneless skinless breast (less fat and calories) and instead of butter in the pan I brushed the chicken with olive oil before coating and bake less time. The chicken was moist and tasty and the change to olive oil reduced the fat and calories and also gave me one of my daily healthy oils for weight watchers.

Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
I made this recipe several times. Last night I made a change that my husband thought was the best version so far. He likes hot wings and such so I added some mexican style seasoning in place of the basil and as always I baked it instead of frying. I liked it and husband loved it he shared with our son in law who immediately told me to give the recipe to my daughter.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2006
This is one of the easiest and best sugar cookies I have made. I will deffinately be using it again.I made it exactly to the recipe with no problems without chilling the dough. However for myself I will reduce the salt next time I found I could taste the salt and I don't like that but some people do.
