Dessert Crepes

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2013
Great recipe!! This was my first time making crepes, and they turned out great. I blended my ingredients in the blender to make the batter smooth. Topped with fresh whipped cream and strawberries :)

Pancakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
Really good recipe! I followed the recipes exact, and used some tips from this website, like putting the batter in the fridge for a little, and not mixing the batter too much.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2010
The pie was great! I added cinnamon to the apples. I added vanilla to the caramel mixture. I mixed most of the caramel mixture to the apples, and drizzled the rest over the lattice crust. The lattice crust was super easy, I just watched a video on how to do it. I used granny smith and mactintosh apples. Use a deep dish pie crust if using 8 apples. First time I made this, it was soupy, but I think we cut into it to soon, and it was still too warm. Second time, I added more flour, and it was better.

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2010
These were soo yummy! I followed the recipe exactly except I used pumpkin pie spice instead of the cinnamon, ginger, and allspice. They fluffed up so nice, and tasted delicious!!!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
I followed the recipe exact, but used vegetable oil instead of the shortening, and I added vanilla and cinn. These did not fluff up, but other than that they were ok. Looking for more of a fluff.

My Chili

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
I thought the chili was good. Wasn't hot enough for me, and not enough beans. I used 2 cans of stewed tomatoes, one can of diced tomatoes, and one can of diced tomatoes with green chili's. I also used Bushes brand chili beans which added extra flavor. Next time I will make it more spicy. I also added paprika, and cheyenne pepper.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
Really good recipe! I decreased the flour and increased the sugar per other reviews. I also made a 2 tier cake instead of cupcakes. The cake was really moist, and the icing was delicious! I will def make this again! Oh and I didn't bake for 20-25 minutes. It was more like 17 minutes. Be careful not to overcook!

Easy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
This came out really good! I did sautee the onions and some garlic before I mixed with the meat. I did not use an entire onion, because my boyfriend is not a fan. We love the ketchup/brown sugar mix that goes on top... sooo delicious, but I always make more. I did also add Worchestershire sauce also! It was really moist and delicious!

Peanut Butter and Banana French Toast

Reviewed: Aug. 23, 2010
This recipe was OK. Didn't add banana's because I did not have any. May try again with bananas.

Chewy Coconut Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2008
Cookies are good! Very simple to make! I would leave them in a little longer than 10 minutes. If you use a teaspoon to measure like I did, you should get 3 dozen small cookies. This one is a keeper!
