Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2013
Yum! This was delicious. I added a chicken bouillon cube to the water that I cooked the ham and vegetables in, added some fresh rosemary and it came out perfectly. I made it with fat free milk so it was low fat and low cal too. Delicious.

Sparkling Punch

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
This punch was fantastic! It was such a welcome departure for the typical cloudy, sticky, sherbet punch. I made it for a baby shower, doubled it for a 7 quart punch bowl, and added extra carbonated water, Per one of the other reviewers, I got the idea to float rubber duckies on top of the punch. It was darlings. It was a baby girl shower and we used pink lemonade and a tiny drop of red food color to make the punch a beautiful pale pink. Use crystal clear store bought ice, and the whole punch bowl with sparkle.

Banana Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2009
I've made this pie for years and it's always great. I tweak it slightly by adding the juice of half a lemon to the cream cheese mixture and layering the sliced bananas on the bottom instead of mixing them in with the cream cheese mixture.

Bird Seed Energy Bars

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2009
These were fantastic, and a not too sweet way to start the day, or pre-work out with a cup of coffee or big bottle of water. I substituted dried cherries for the chocolate chips and added some pumpkin seeds as I didn't quite enough sesame seeds. I will definitely make these again.

Enchilada Casserole III

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
I sauteed a chopped onion and fresh minced garlic with the ground beef, and added a can of chopped green chiles. I also used canned enchilada sauce as did some of the other reviewers. I baked it in a glass covered corning ware dish for 45 minutes, and let it sit for 10 minutes before serving. It sliced beautifully and all the layers were visible. It was a nice and easy casserole for a week night supper
