Buzzsaw's BBQ Sauce

Perfect. Mixed it up, minus onions that were already in the crockpot w/ the pork, added it 2 hrs into cooking. Better than anything store bought.

I made it according to the recipe and it is fine...6, 4, 3 yr olds approves too. I added another cup of cocoa and about 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. Perfect. I also made it reusing a 1 gallon ice cream tup (5qt) and put a piece of plastic wrap between the lid and lip to shake it up. Since all the ingredients are very light (past experience w/ mixing powered milk), let it sit for a few minutes before opening for it's dust to settle.

Roasted Vegetable Medley

Yummy. I made it in 2 9x13s, the 40m & the 20m pan. Parsnips, onions, yams (unpeeled), carrots, bells, & garlic. Accidentally added spices pre-cooking and they were great.

Squash Cookies

I have more squash than I know what to do with and this will definitely use them up. i may have used too much water to puree my squash and so we ended up with batter and muffins (375* @ 12 minutes). I also was short allspice and nutmeg (i know that kind of makes the muffin) but they were still amazing. The 3rd dozen are cooking and I have only 4 from the first 24 uneaten. My pre-preschool kids (4, 3, & 3) love them. We were going to frost them but there is no need to.

Vanilla Granola

Very good. I 1/2ed the coconut & used a full 2 tsp but the coconut still over powered the vanilla. Great taste just not the "vanilla granola" I am looking for. More of a coconut sesame granola. Will make again, and will tweek the vanilla/coconut/sesame ratios.

Oatmeal Pancakes II

Used 2% milk and steel cut oats, double batched, and 90% of it was consumed by 4 picky pre-Ks that refuse to touch oatmeal in my other efforts. I will add this to my weekly line up.

Gingerbread Men

great cookie, easy kid(helping) friendly dumping into a mixer. smell and taste great. i added a bit more flour when rolling and forming. they do spread more than i thought they would and my 1" spacing in places wasn't enough. i can't wait to decorate and make for christmas....this was the recipe testing batch.

Sugared Black Raspberry Tea Cookies

These are great eggless cookies (what I was looking for). I subbed a few things, as we all do,for what I had on hand. I used whipping cream vs milk, regular sized chocolate chips, strawberry preserves and added 2 drops of ammaretto flavor. Perfect for cookie exchange, if you don't eat them all while they cool.

Chicken and Dumplings III

very flavorful. i 2x the pepper and added 1/4c of water to the broth before adding chicken and dumplings. soup to dumpling/chicken is thick, i'll add more liquid next time. very easy. also my dumpling mixture was a little dry so i added more milk to give it a gloppier (lighter) look. turned out perfect!!

Chicken and Lentils

quite tasty, more stew-ish than the recipe looks (but i used 1.5x lentils). weight watcher pts friendly, will make again if husband like it. would taste good over white rice too.
