Sweet Potato Pie I

This was one of the best sweet potato pies I've ever made! So rich and creamy and savory all at the same time. I plan to delight my family with this treat on Thanksgiving.

Miso and Soy Chilean Sea Bass

Nah! This works better with salmon. Maybe the sea bass I bought was off, but the texture was rubbery.

Fluffy French Toast

The flour in this recipe definitely helps to eliminate the sogginess from my french toast (even though the outsides were burned to a crisp). I have always wanted to master making french toast and this recipe will allow me to proudly prepare and serve a batch to my family and friends.

Old Fashioned Onion Rings

The batter had a weird ... stiff consistency that threw these onion rings off. Maybe two eggs are too many? Flavor was good but the batter was off.

Healthier Golden Pork Chops

I definitely ended up making this "unhealthy", but it was pretty good. I prepared the chops in a pan - searing like others advised (in butter). I also sprinkled Lawry's, Italian seasoning, Old Bay's, powdered sage, garlic powder, and pepper on the chops. I sauteed the onions in butter and then added condensed mushroom soup to them, along with chicken stock (about 1 cup or so), a dash of Lawry's, pepper, garlic powder, and sage. Poured the mixture over the chops in pan. Simmered the combo on low for 35 minutes. My four-year-old daughter tore it up!

Feta Cheese and Bacon Stuffed Breasts

This was good. The oregano was too powerful compared to the other flavors though. Next time I'll cut it down by 1/2 teaspoon. Overall, the chicken was juicy - the recipe easy to follow - I'll definitely try it again.
