Oatmeal Chocolate Coconut Chewy

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2014
I made these yesterday and they were so good! I only put 1 c of brown sugar and they were still very sweet. I added raisins and craisins and did not add coconut or chocolate chips or nuts. Excellent!

The best manicotti recipe ever! Made it for a Christmas party and got rave reviews! I didn't cook the noodles at all and they were easy to fill. Baked 350° for 45 minutes. Amazing!

It was ok. I think I would like it better on boneless chicken.

Cream of Asparagus Soup I

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2012
This was really good. I did make some alterations. I didn't have soy sauce, so omitted that. I used my hand held mixer and pureed everything but there were still clumps so I strained it. Turned out pretty good. Oh I used evaporated skim milk in place of 1/2 and 1/2 to make it fat free.

Barbequed Ribs

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2012
These ribs are to die for. I brought these to a party where 4 people made ribs and these were by FAR the best. I did make a few alterations. Instead of the chili sauce I added an extra 1/4 c brown sugar, 1 tsp allspice and an extra 1/4 c ketchup. I also added 2 tbsp WHISKEY and reduced down (next time I will use 3 tbsp whiskey). After baking in oven and then rubbing the spices over (I thought this odd to do it after they were cooked but it worked). I let them sit overnight in the fridge. We then lit the charcoal grill and basted them with this yummy sauce. Out of this world!

Chicken Piccata II

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2012
This is a really good recipe. I did alter a bit from an older recipe I had. I added a cup of white wine to 2 cups water and 3 chix boullion in a small pan and reduced for about 20 min. Then after frying the chicken (skipped the egg dip and just used flour) I poured my reduction into the fry pan, to deglaze and added 3 tbsp of lemon juice and half a stick of butter. Placed the chicken back in the pan for about 10 more min., turning once. This recipe is lick the dish good! LOL

Heather's Grilled Salmon

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
Out of this world delicious! I did not have the lemon pepper but used a tbsp of lemon juice instead. I marinated for 2 hours and cooked on cedar planks on the gril. I boiled the marinade to make a sauce. Excellent!

Very Fruity Rum Punch

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
This was good. I didn't use the banana liquer and used coconut rum. Everyone loved it. It is a bit heavy to drink more than 2 of them.

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
These were good but I made with butter flavored crisco instead of real butter. I will try them again with real butter. I also froze a batch for 2 weeks and they came out good.

Blueberry Strata

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2012
This was excellent! I had a huge party and made this 2 weeks ahead and froze (before cooking it). I took it out the day before and cooked it at 375 for an hour and served with plain maple syrup. Very good and will make again!

I am only giving these 4 stars because they needed something else other than just feta in them. Maybe spinach or peppers.

This was wonderful but had to double the sauce. Also had to add a little brown sugar like another review said to do.
