Corn Dip II

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2006
I made this for a Superbowl party. Although it does make a lot, that was a good thing because people when nuts for it!!! The only thing I changed was extra chili powder and 1/4 cup of Franks Red Hot sauce which gave it some extra flavor. 3 people asked me for the recipe. AWESEOME STUFF, highly recommended.

Blue Cheese Dip II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2007
This dip is awesome! The only change I made was I put just a little over a cup of sour cream to drown out any extra mayo taste. Served this with Buffalo Ranch Doritos on the 4th of July...big hit - can't wait to try it on a grilled burger or hot wings next time!

Summer Tomato Salad

Reviewed: Sep. 9, 2007
Very nice! It was a brilliant idea actually. The herbs give it an itailian dressing taste without the oil. I used 4 Iowa grown tomatoes, got a lot of juice from that, and I threw in a couple handfulls grape tomatoes. Next time I am going to try cucumbers to give it a little more something. But otherwise, very good and a nice healthy option for my family!

Angel Cookies I

AWESOME! My Grandma used to make these, I thought it was a secret family recipe until now :) These are addicting. I rolled the dough in balls, dipped them in water, then sugar, did a criss/cross with a fork and then sprinkled red and green sugar for a festive holiday look. Highly recommended!

Chicken Fajita Marinade

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2008
I really liked this recipe, it made for a nice change. I used a thin cut chicken breast and cut it up before marinading for 1 hour, then I put foil on the top rack of my gas grill and cooked it that way. It was so tender and had a nice flavor! Will use again and recommend to friends.

I omitted the breading and baked them, fabulous! I even sprinkled some crushed red pepper on half the batch for a little more kick and those were awesome too!

Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2009
I had some plans on a Saturday afternoon, so I threw this together in a crockpot, cooked it on low for 4 hours. I must have done something wrong because it was absolutely horrible, too much soy or something. I had to throw it out. I'm sure there is a better way to make this but I apologize, my house smelled for hours because of this dish. I might try it again if I can stay home and monitor the cooking of this.

BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip

SOLID! It was a big hit at the 4th of July party I went to, every ounce of it was gone! I only added one block of cream cheese though, I obviously can't read! But,everyone still loved it!

Slow-Cooked Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
Pretty good! I only changed 2 things, I added 3 cups of frozen hashbrowns and bacon instead of ham because that is what I had on hand. Tastes extra good the next day.

Cocoa Banana Bars

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
Very good, the thing I liked is I had all the ingredients on hand and that is always a good thing. This was very easy to make and very tasty. I made the mistake of not measuring the bananas, I used 2 medium sized and it looked like a cup and a half but it must not have been so my bars turned out a little dry. I blame myself for that. Next time I will add a little more banana. Very creative idea - will make again!

Solid!!! This is really so good!!! I have tried it twice and liked it best with a little more than a pinch of garlic powder. It really tastes like a steak house steak!!! Very tender results. Thank You for sharing! **Update: I tried it on a pork chop and it tasted like I was eating a steak**

Hot Pizza Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2010
Really good! I baked mine at 350 for about 15 minutes and it rocked. I tore up some soft bagels and we used that for the dip, tasted like little pizzas. Went over well. I like the fact you can change it up with different ingredients. The parm cheese almost made it thicker to hold everything in. Very nice!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2010
Very Good. The one thing I agree about from other peoples reviews is slicing the meat and returning it to the crockpot on warm in the juices for about 30-45 minutes. Also, the garlic powder, some salt and pepper really added more flavor. Will keep making this!
