About this Cook
Army wife with 2 kids. We have been through only 2 one-year deployments. It really helps to be able to cook fast and easy and on a budget!
My favorite things to cook
Enchiladas (The lazy way), tacos, pasta, BBQ anything. Quick and easy!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We make homemade tamales every fall. YUM!
My cooking triumphs
My mother-in-law actually liked my first Thanksgiving dinner.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 8 I tried making loose-tea flavored macaroni. EWW!

Quick Yeast Rolls
I've made these a few times, and the first couple of times was tricky to handle the dough. BUT...hubby likes them so much that it's worth it, and the time makes it a breeze! Thanks!

Smoked Sausage in Tomato Sauce
Sorry, but we really didn't care for this. While cooking, it tasted very bland, and added onion, garlic, salt and other spices just to give the sauce flavor. Not our Cup of tea.

Eggless Peanut Butter Cookies
I halved the recipe and only substituted whole milk for buttermilk. I wasn't expecting much, but was wonderfully surprised! I may even use this as my go-to for gifts and save the cost of eggs. Thanks for a great submission!
