White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2009
So amazing!! I didn't have a strainer so my raspberry sauce had the seeds in it - still tasted great!! I did 1.5X the oreo crust because I had a 10" pan.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2009
Awesome! I doubled the sauce and threw in frozen shrimp and vegetables and it came out wonderfully! I used a little less than 1/2 tsp of pepper flakes cause I'm not much for really spicy stuff, but I really liked the flavor of this recipe. And it was soooo quick and easy to make!

Hearty Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Definitely not my favorite. Kind of bland. If I decide to make again, I will probably mix the cheese into the casseole and add other spices or seasoning.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
These were ok. Not as amazing as I was expecting. Definitely better with frosting, although next time I'm going to make the frosting thicker so I can spread it on with a knife instead of drizzling with a fork.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
This sauce was amazing! I used skim milk instead of half and half, wilted some baby spinach with garlic for the base layer, cut up the chicken and browned in a pan, and left out the bacon bits. One of my new favorites! Next time I'll either try shrimp or use some small chicken breasts instead of cutting it up.

Tiramisu Cheesecake

Amazing! Definitely need to add more Kahlua to filling though. At least double the amount.

Apple Enchilada Dessert

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
This was just okay for me. Next time I might try chopping up the apples a little finer and adding more cinnamon. There was a lot of liquid in the bottom of the pan so the enchiladas got a little soggy by the time we were ready for dessert.

Sour Cream Raspberry Pie

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2008
Baked very nice. I was hoping it would be a little sweeter, but that was probably my fault for using some raspberries that weren't completely ripe yet. Overall a good pie.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: May 27, 2008
This is my new favorite brownie recipe. Super easy! I doubled the recipe in a 9x13 pan. I had to bake it for a few extra minutes, but it was well worth it!

Chococonut Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2008
Very good recipe. Coconut was a nice way to spice up the original chocolate chip cookie. I'll try different types of chips next time for some variety.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
Best italian beef ever! Although you do need to double the italian dressing mix. Even better the second (and third) day! We ate this three days in a row with no complaints! I also use this recipe with deer roasts - you can't even tell it's deer!!

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2008
Good apple crisp recipe. Make sure your apples are peeled. Also, I took the advice of other readers and doubled the crust recipe. I thought it made way too much and will only use the regular recipe next time.

Prize Winning Baby Back Ribs

Best ribs I've ever had! Definitely use the butter knife/paper towel membrane removal method. Works like a charm! I can't wait till grilling season so I can start making these again!

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
Great appetizer. I followed recipe exactly (except I omitted the olives because I don't like them) and it turned out great. I put leftovers in the refrigerator and lettuce was fine the next day. Will definitely make again. Second time I made it I added a layer of taco meat on top of the sour cream/cream cheese layer. I think I like it better with the meat.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
Wow! These turned out perfect! Very chewy and moist and chocolaty! I used chocolate chunks instead of chips. I only got 12 cookies out of this batch but I was just guessing at my 1/4 cup size.

Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2008
Very good recipe, although a little more like cake than I was expecting, even after sitting for 2 days. Next time I'll try draining a little of the liquid from the frozen zucchini when it thaws. Will definitely make many more times though!
